About this house rental

This home has a large living area. 4 bedrooms and 2 bath and is located in the historic Ghost town of Thompson Springs. The town is very quiet with 3 to 5 trains passing through town in a 24 Hr period. The California Zephyr comes through at 8am headed east on its way to Denver . At 6pm the California Zephyr passes through headed west to Salt Lake City. Buffalo herds are known to roam the Book Cliffs that overlook the town

We have been staying @ Ballard RV park for over 12yrs.The cabins are always clean & comfortable. Easy to get to trails for riding & close to Moab. Quiet area!

The property is wonderful! Everything is very clean. Perfect number of bedrooms and the kitchen is large. The trails are close which gave us a full day of riding.

We loved our time at the Thompson House! The location was great for all of the hiking and sightseeing we did every day. The house had everything we needed for our month long stay. It was perfect!

We have stayed in the Thompson House several times along with a few of Walt’s other properties. The house this trip was clean and comfortable upon arrival, as it has been every other time. We had a small hiccup with the heat this trip, which was taken care of ASAP. Walt is a great host and we highly recommend his properties.We plan to book again.
