Wolfe's Den is an exceptional home. It is a wonderful place for a family vacation. The Bunkhouse was a big hit with our 6 grandchildren. The game room was a great place for the family to gather and play games. The kitchen was amazing. It had everything we needed to make meals together. The bedrooms were very comfortable.The wrap around decks on both levels gave us even more room. The entire home was amazing.

This was our second year in a row staying at The Wolfe’s Den. We have stayed at multiple cabins over the years and this is definitely one of the best for multi-generational groups. The kids love getting to stay with their cousins in the bunk room, and they have so much space to hang out downstairs, so adults can enjoy the living area on the main floor with a little less chaos. There is plenty of seating for us all to eat at once for meals (13 in our group), and there is more than enough room for people to retreat to a quiet corner when needed. Location is very convenient for anything in Big Bear. Grocery stores are very close, which is so helpful. Less need to lug tons of food up the mountain. And the hot tub is a fantastic bonus for after snow play. It’s nice and large and has great jets. Jenny is a great host and always quick to respond if you have any questions.

The Wolfe's Den was perfection! We stayed for a week and everyone's only complaint was that we wish we could stay longer. We had plenty of space for everyone and the provided amenities were great. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen. We stayed over the 4th of July and we were able to walk 1/2 a mile to the park to see the fireworks. The cabin is close to the lake and Snow Summit. Amazing location! We would definitely recommend staying here for any visit to Big Bear.

It's been my wish to surprise my family sons, daughters and their children with a group vacation. After searching for days I believed I found the perfect home for 7 adults and 6 children. The Wolf's Den is a beautiful home with all the comforts a large group needs to enjoy a mountain retreat vacation. We will plan to stay in the future.

The Cabin was great. We had a great time. The Cabin was located close to town and to the slopes. Kids had a blast. First snow/ski trip for them. They enjoyed the cabin/bunk beds. This is our 6th year renting a cabin for our family gathering, and is our new favorite. It is perfect for families with kids, as there is more than enough space for everyone. The kids loved the bunk room and the game room downstairs. Adults loved that they could be (peacefully) upstairs. Plenty of seating for meals between the extended table and all the barstools at the counter. The location was fantastic: easy to find, plenty of parking, no steep driveway. Conveniently close to a Vons and Stater Bros. and not far from the Village either. We hope to stay here next year!

The house was so clean, had the extra little amenities in the cupboards, check in process was very easy and has is extremely well kept. The cabin far exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked for cooking, of which we did a lot, the place was spotlessly clean, and communication with the landlord was very fast. We were six adults staying and each person/couple had their own bedroom and it was plenty spacious to not feel like we were in each others way. The master bath tub was an unexpected treat, the dishwasher is completely silent you don’t even know it’s on. There is also housewide Bluetooth, the only warning I’ll give us make sure you know if and when it is playing outside. We didn’t realize the outside speakers were on for a bit of time. Everything is well explained in the directions book and we will definitely be staying there again.

Wolfe's Den is a great property. Exactly as described, even better. The decor is so fun, so many wolves! The grandkids had fun counting them. The cabin has everything needed for a great stay. We had one minor glitch and the owner was on it and so helpful. The house has two entertainment areas so that adults and kids have their own space. Great location, central but very quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Hope to be staying there again some day.

Excellent choice for our 2nd Annual 4th of July gathering. Plenty of room for 5 families. The kids loved their space downstairs and the adults had plenty more upstairs and on the patios. The home is fully stocked; Jenny has thought of nearly everything. The location is good…close to parks and the lake and the neighborhood is nice. This is a fine location for bike riding and walking. The check in process was easy. Jenny responded quickly to my questions. The kitchen was very nice for our family dinners…again, fully stocked. The new spa worked great. The wolf den was a perfect home away from home. The owner was very responsive and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. We were in contact from the days leading to our trip and helped us track weather since it changed daily. Everything we needed was provided, everything from pots and pans to cook all our meals and sleds for the kids to enjoy the snow right outside the property. One thing we did forget was birthday candles, but we made due with some random candles we happened to find in one of the cabinets. The washer and dryer was also an added touch that everyone appreciated. All in all, was an enjoyable trip. We would certainly come back!

The wolf den was a great place for our church youth ski trip. We own the cabin up the street and needed an extra cabin for the girls cabin. Jenny’s wolf den was the perfect place. It is very warm and cozy. Lots of sleeping and perfect for a large group with teenagers. We will for sure. Be back to stay again. Thank you Jenny for such a great weekend.

This was a great place for three different families and kids. Loved the open layout and the fun decor. The only fireplace that required wood was the main upstairs livingroom but the other fireplaces were super convenient gas fireplaces. It's a little chillier in the downstairs bunkroom but there were plenty of extra blankets. The amenities were well-thought out - appreciated all the extra hooks for towels and such. Super close to Snow Summit. Everyone had a great time!

Enjoyed the snow after a heavy snow fall. Sad to report didn’t have a good experience renting from Jenny Schwing. Be wise and capture video/ picture of how you find the home and how you leave it. Have been a short term renter for over 10 years and never had issues until this encounter. I won’t go too much into detail but I stated my advice for future renters. Big Bear itself is always amazing to visit .
