Beach and Racquet B311 is a third (top) floor beachfront condo at the Savannah Beach and Racquet Club on the quiet North end of Tybee Island. Enjoy unobstructed views of the bay, ships, shrimp boats and dolphins from your private furnished balcony. The condo underwent updates in April 2015 and will offer guests an overall wonderful experience for their stay. New laminate wood flooring, paint throughout, as well has updated furnishings and decor. This is a great location just a short stroll down to the community pool and beach access! Parking for this condo is unreserved for 1 vehicle only. You will receive a parking pass at check-in.
This property has an updated partial kitchen and a breakfast bar seating two. The kitchen features an under counter fridge, convection toaster oven, covered electric skillet, hot water kettle, Keurig, and standard coffee maker. There is no oven, stove-top or dishwasher, however, we have taken great care that everything is set-up to accommodate guests. There is a Queen bed and TV in the bedroom, 1 built-in hallway bunk for a child and a sleeper sofa in the living area. There is also a 42in flat-screen TV in the living area. This condo will sleep up to 4 comfortably. This condo offers in-unit high-speed wireless internet for your convenience. Handicap friendly (elevator, not ADA compliant).
About the Savannah Beach and Racquet Club Located on the quiet North end of Tybee Island directly on the bay where the Savannah River meets the Atlantic Ocean. There is a beach, but no real wave action. Watch the dolphins play and the ships come to port. The condo complex features private beach access, 14`x20` pool and 10x10` kiddie pool, tennis courts, private parking, gated complex, WIFI access at the pool and Beach and Racquet office, and community coin-operated washer(s)/dryer(s) in each building.
POOLS: Pools are currently open daily from Noon to 2:45 pm and 3:15-6 pm, with limited occupancy. (subject to change, based on HOA Guidelines).

We LOVED this location. The condo was quaint, very comfortable, well appointed, and exceeded our expectations. We hope to book the same unit next year. For us, nothing beats beach front. Couple things below that might help first timers.
1. I tend to read everything and must have missed the noise rules. They are reasonable rules but nicer to know ahead of time instead of via text after the fact.
2. We did not know how to get the gate to open. There were lots of instructions about not following the car ahead of you but not much about using the lanyard gate card. A bystander happened to see us struggling at the gate and walked over to help.
3. GPS might take vacationers to the wrong place for checkin. We became “lost” and because it was after hours there was no rep avail via phone to help us navigate to the right place. We had to back track from Polk Street to find the multi-story gray building with pink shutters.
Zero complaints though. Highly recommend.

Lovely place, great view. I called when the frig was not working properly and it was fixed within hours! Would be happy to stay here again.

This condo was in a great location, and clean. Owners definitely need to invest in a better mattress and couch. When you sit on the couch you feel as though you sink to the floor. The mattress squeaks horribly on one side, and is very uncomfortable. It left my husband and myself with a sore back, and me with a sore hip for the entire trip. I would rent again in a heartbeat if it weren't for these 2 things.
