About this house rental
Welcome to The Pink House.
Sitting atop 4 acres, this three story home is set up for family and friends to get together and enjoy the weekend, holidays or a long weeks get away. The main living area is an open concept with a big farm house dining table for all your meals and card games. The home comes with all kitchen accessories and linens. ***updated appliances and havent updated the pictures yet***. The back porch has spectacular views of Little Beaver Creek on Lake Hartwell and only minutes from Portman Marina. Clemson is only 19 miles or 28 minutes from here and with the house accommodating up to 16 people, this would be the perfect place to host a football weekend. Guests are more than welcome to bring a boat. Apple Island landing is right around the corner as is Broyles. The basement has two sets of bunk beds with its own full bathroom. The main level has the master suite off the living room with a king bed and its own full bathroom. ***updated shower and tile but no updated photos yet***. The third floor has 3 bedrooms with a combination of a queen bed, king bed, two single beds and two double beds. Also two full bathrooms as well. There is a total of 11 beds that sleeps 16 heads comfortably. A few disclosures: The house will be equipped with one set of toilet paper and paper towels upon arrival but due to bad apples in the past we don’t keep a supply on hand. Guests will need to purchase extra if needed. Soap and shampoo is also not provided as well as any laundry suplies. Please bring your own or purchase. Lake levels are beyond our control. Sometimes the water is up beyond the catwalk due to heavy rain fall and sometimes it’s a bit lower due to the Corps of Engineers needs. We try our best to “chase” the levels but it’s hard to keep up sometimes. It is also beyond our control on the yard crew. They come every two weeks and they may areive while on your stay. Early check ins and late checkouts are available for an additional charge and when the schedule permits it. We try and accommodate the best we can.

First time in the area. House was great. It does need some updating and repairs, the host was made aware and relayed info to owner. We arrived early and the house had not yet been cleaned. They arrived within 30 minutes and had it spotless. Perfect for large families. Plenty of room. Well stocked kitchen. The dock and lake were also awesome. It was surprisingly deep at the dock. Would definitely return to this house. If you stay here, you have to try Waldrop's. Just a couple of miles away and some good old fashioned home cooking.

We had a great time! The house was perfect. Our entire family had a wonderful time being right on the lake. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!!

While this certainly wasn't the best house I've stayed in, it also wasn't the worst. The location is nice and quiet and I'm sure the lake would be nice to use in the warmer months. We stayed for Thanksgiving and just needed a house to accommodate our family of 13, which it did.The accommodations were sufficient and there were enough kitchen tools to cook and serve; however, the house was older and needs some maintenance. It also wasn't very clean as the kitchen had small broken pieces of raw spaghetti noodles lying around when we got there. I felt like I was constantly finding them in every corner...There were broken/missing ceiling fan blades, the toilet seat in the master bath was cracked and needed replacement (if it isn't replaced, expect your butt to get pinched), some dining room chairs were broken and not safe to sit in, and certain electrical outlets didn't work. On a more positive note, the host's representative was very responsive with all inquiries and we had no major issues we couldn't work around. If only the owner would put a little TLC into the house, it could be a really nice house. My guess is it's their summertime hangout spot they use for watersports and parties.
