About this apartment rental
Las Olas Condominiums are located at the end of Costa Azul Beach next to the El Mirador lookout in San Jose Del Cabo. The complex has 24 hour gated security.
Why our condo over the other 2 bedroom units? We installed new double pane windows to help with the road noise. We replaced all AC units inside and added digital thermostats. Because of this we have great airflow and our AC fans shut off and on based on your temperature needs. We have two televisions that have Dish Network out of South Dakota. Most have 1 television and some have no television service at all. We provide local phone service as well as US/Canada phone service. Updated appliances and newer ceiling fans. We have a double surfboard locker for our guests use that can accommodate SUP as well as surfboards and longboards. We provide two boogie boards and a Costco surfboards for our guests to use at no additional cost.
The condo is very roomy with room for up to 4 guests, depending on the makeup of your party. Our unit has been updated inside with new tile flooring and fresh paint. Additionally we have updated bathrooms and kitchen. The living room has a recently reupholstered couch, love seat and chair with a 50" flat screen TV. The dining room has a table with 6 chairs and 3 bar stools for family dining in. Our kitchen is fully equipped for your use. We also provide a blender, toaster, egg cooker, coffee maker and have recently added a Keurig K-cups machine. If you plan to use k-Cups you will need to bring your own because they are unavailable for purchase in our area. On the kitchen bar counter is the phones, a wi-fi modem and an information book. The hall closet has a combo washer/dryer unit for your convenience. Our complex has a blue light filtered water system and we have added a filtering system to the cold water of the kitchen sink.
The master suite has a Mexican king sized bed with a pillow top on it. We stay regularly and find this bed quite comfortable. We recently added new bedding. It also has a flat screen television. There are two pull down shades. One that lets light in and another that blacks out the room. The master has its own updated bathroom with shower and also a large closet area where you will find a safe, iron, ironing board pickle ball paddles and tennis rackets for your use but you will need to provide your own balls.
The 2nd bedroom has two newer twin beds also with pillow tops. Also new bedding has been provided in this room and it has the same dual window covering.
Wake up to beautiful sunrises from our double balcony and then spend the day at the beach or by the pool. The balcony has a table with 4 chairs near the BBQ and two lounge chairs on the other side. We have hooks for the drying of your wet/damp towels and bathing suits.
Walk out the gate to white sandy beaches and clear blue water or sit by our large private pool. Beach/pool towels are provided in the laundry closet. We also provide two beach chairs and an umbrella which can be found in the surfboard locker.
There is one drawback. Our building is right on the beach but the main highway runs behind us. There is road noise from cars and trucks. We have updated our unit with new double pane windows and we provide white noise machines in each bedroom. Sensitive sleepers might consider ear plugs.
We are located in the middle of 4 surf breaks. Walk 5 minutes to World Class Zippers, step out the gate and paddle out to La Roca (The Rock), paddle or walk to Acapulquito (Old Mans) or for the beginners we have Pescodito (Middles), right out in front.
Our surfboard locker is located near the elevator and we also have a cart in the 2nd bedroom that can be used to bring up groceries.
Costa Azul surf shop is across the street and can provide all types of surfboards, longboards, SUP and surf gear that you might need. Zippers restaurant is a short walk down the beach or street. If you need surf lessons contact David at https://www.surfincabo.com/.
We have a Walmart and other Super Markets nearby. Many different styles of restaurants. Costco in Cabo San Lucas. Taxi service or rental cars can be arranged from the complex. Uber is available. Bus stops are across the street going to Cabo and a short walk past the arroyo for the bus stop heading towards San Jose.
We are 10 minutes from the quaint town of San Jose Del Cabo with its Thursday Art walk featuring the designs of local artists and 25 minutes from the nightlife of Cabo San Lucas.
PLEASE NOTE LAS OLAS DOES NOT ALLOW PETS OF ANY KIND TO NON OWNERS. ADDITIONALLY THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT TO ALLOW SERVICE ANIMALS IN MEXICO.
We require a small, refundable, security deposit.

We stayed for 8 nights and couldn't have asked for anything else. The condo was exactly as described and had everything we could've needed and more. The balcony with zero gravity chairs were the best! Gorgeous views with surf break right out front. Surf rentals across the street and use of Rob's foam long boards made it easy. Rob was very responsive and helpful in providing nearby restaurant recommendations. We are already thinking about when we'll be able to come back!

We were in Cabo for a Wedding at the Cabo Surf Hotel. The Los Olas Condominiums are a great option when they ran out of rooms as it's a 5 minute walk down the beach. As long as its not high tide. Only once did we need to Uber over for the beach parties/pool parties and we were there for four days. Great location to go into town and see the sites of San Jose'. Thanks again !
