About this house rental
Large multi-level, 3-bedroom home with fantastic Gulf views. The ground level is garage; the main house is the 2nd and 3rd floor which provides the incredible view.
Located near the south end of Manasota Key, it is about 300 steps to the Gulf of Mexico beach access (at 1220 Shoreview). The 2 large, screened lanais face the Gulf,
both have a table and chairs for enjoying a meal, an evening cocktail or just the nice breeze and views.
The open-concept living-dining-kitchen space is nicely furnished with beautiful cherry wood including a flat-screen TV & DVD player and free Wi-Fi. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on this main living level. The larger bedroom has a king-size bed and queen-size bed, with an adjoining bathroom. The smaller bedroom has a queen bed and bathroom. There's a full-size washer & dryer.
On the top floor you'll find a large open bedroom with 3 full-size beds and a balcony at either end. This is a great home for large or small families.

Really enjoyed this property. Location is convenient to the beach, but also very close to pretty much anything you would want to do nearby. House is very nicely decorated. Definitely felt at home. I would absolutely stay here again!

The location and house itself is fantastic. The house could use some furniture replacements and outdoor cleaning (porches were dirty and basement is rank). The biggest BEWARE is that the place offers beach access, but this does not allow you to put a chair or blanket on the beach! The beach is privately owned down to the high tide mark leaving little room for chairs or blankets – Beach owners will call the police to have your removed. You can hike down another ¼ mile to the public beach and enjoy the beach there. The house was large and roomy, great for the eight of us. Rooms had Wood paneling and bathrooms all in great condition and clean. We were there for two weeks and totally enjoyed it.

We enjoyed our vacation overall. The space of the house is great. Big and accommodating. The screened in porches are nice. The upper level was a neat space. The home's furniture, supplied amenities (towels, bedding, pots and pans, etc) and decor are all pretty old and worn. When we arrived there was open food in the fridge and cabinets from previous occupants that we had to throw out, including an open bag of brown sugar that had attracted ants that we fought our entire week. We had to clean everything before using it. The house had a strong, musty smell. Everything was in need of a good deep cleaning and updating. Hot water was used very quickly so showers needed to be staggered. The elevator doesn't work, and the only way inside is a lot of stairs. So if you have anyone with limited mobility, or even heavy luggage, it will be difficult to get up to the house. The amenity list stated there was a grill so we planned our menu and did our shopping based on being able to grill. But when we got there we realized there was no grill. We contacted the rental company and the owner brought a grill. We did appreciate that very much!
