About this house rental
The Shipwatch Cottage is a beautiful two bedroom cottage with a stone fireplace overlooking the river. Each bedroom has a queen size bed. There is a queen size pull out sofa with a memory foam mattress in the living room.. It has a full kitchen with a refrigerator/freezer, farmhouse apron sink, range, dishwasher, coffee maker, tea kettle, and microwave. There is a 39" HDTV with Directv satellite television.
On the outdoor deck there is a grill and dining table with chairs to enjoy summer grilling. There is a firepit with Adirondack chairs for enjoying s'mores with the family.
Luxury shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap are provided by Beekman 1802. The beds are made with fresh linens. Bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths are also provided.
Everything is prepped and ready to make your vacation relaxing and comfortable. Just bring yourself!
- Welcome to The Ledges Resort & Marina! We are located directly on the St. Lawrence River across from Boldt Castle. We have views of the castle, Sunken Rock Lighthouse, and the main shipping channel. There are decks, docks, hammocks, and gazebos all across our six-acre property. You will find many beautiful spots to relax, read a book, take a walk, or go fishing. We have a large in-ground pool and deck area. Every cottage has its own fire-pit where you can warm up under the stars. We even provide the firewood! There are plenty of open lawn areas to play catch, lawn games, or just take a walk.
The Ledges offers a peaceful getaway with six acres of landscaped grounds along the water. While the grounds provide privacy and lots of space, we are not in a remote location. It’s a quick and easy walk downtown Alexandria Bay. We are close to all of the attractions. At the Ledges you have the best of both worlds, relaxation and convenience!

We had a wonderful time with Family at the Ledges. Everything was Perfect. Well supplied cottage, clean and comfortable, wood and starter kindling for fit pit and right next door to our fishing charter "Reel Commander". We will be back for sure.

The property is well cared for with special touches to make you feel right at home. Many amenities makes it easy to come and stay without having to pack alot of extra things. The fire pit was stocked with wood and we noticed that it was replenished. We will definitely return again.
