About this house rental
Single family home in the "Heart of the 1000 Islands". Located in downtown ABay area. A Short walk to the tourist shops, restaurants, night life, and a beach with a lifeguard just a 10 to 15 minutes walk away. This house sleeps 6 with 2 full bathrooms. There are many things to do in and around the place such as games, sun bathing, grilling, relaxing, etc. Also a privacy fenced in backyard with deck, gas grill, fire pit, and corn toss. Relax on the front porch and watch the happy tourists.
Please note: This place is NOT set up for wheelchairs and walking assistance.
Inside are 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, air conditioners and ceiling fans. Enjoy the spacious kitchen with all cooking utensils, pots, pans, and appliances including a refrigerator, oven/stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, mixer, blender, and more. Just bring your food, clothing, and any special needs you may have. We provide soap, shampoo, bedding, pillows, blankets, towels, and just about everything else. However, some guests prefer to bring their own stuff. Washer & dryer available free. Free wireless WiFi for your personal usage and with Streaming many free movies and tv channels for your viewing pleasure. DVD, CD and tape stereo,
In and around the village are many things to do such as: Beach with Life Guards, Uncle Sam Boat Tours, boat rentals, events, shopping, restaurants, bars, parks, wineries / tasting, and marina's. Also walk, bike or drive across the 1000 Island Bridge onto Wellesley Island and/or into Canada.
Hop in your car or boat and within a short drive enjoy the local attractions inside and outside of Alexandria Bay. Clayton, Cape Vincent, Sackets Harbor and Canada are all a short drive away. Enjoy fishing on your boat or a private fishing charter. Boldt Castle, Singer Castle, Boat Tours, Wellesley Island Nature Center, antiquing, golfing, mini golf, river diving, white water rafting, the local zoo, hiking, drive in movie theater, boat rentals, local gift shops, restaurants, and bars. Also, in the area are several places that rent all styles of boats including kayaks, canoes, jet skis, pontoon boats, runabouts, and bicycles.
NOTE: BRING your personal needs. We supply soap, shampoo, towels, bedding, blankets, and pillows to sleep 6 (six), hair dryer, ironing board, and just about everything else you will need is here. OR bring your own.
PARKING: 2 car drive way. Also on street.

The location of the house was perfect for our vacation. We were very thankful for the a/c units as we stayed during a very hot summer day.The hard part was the steep stairs and the too soft queen bed. Both were the reason we cut our vacation a day short. However, these two factors are probably not a concern for most people. But due to my disability they were a big problem for me.Sincerely,Lou Anne

My family & I had such a great time staying at this charming home. We decided to extend our stay an extra day. This home has so much character. It is the perfect home for families or couples. The backyard and the front porch was the highlight of our stay. The backyard has a great fire pit which we loved. They had cornhole, lots of chairs, benches & tables with umbrella stands. The outside bar was a nice touch. You instantly feel like you are on vacation. We loved that we were walking distance to the shops, restaurants & bars. We highly recommend taking the twilight cruise. Uncle Sam Boat tours did a great job. We are definitely staying here again!
