About this house rental
With 4 bedrooms, 7 beds, and 3 bathrooms (plus an outdoor shower), our beach house is the perfect spot for families & friends to relax in privacy & comfort while enjoying the restorative sea air. Highlights include a full kitchen, bright sun room & attached deck with table & chairs to dine al fresco!
Located in Ocean View, we're just a quick walk/ride/drive into Bethany & convenient to other beaches in the area. Floors & bathrooms recently renovated + NEMA 14-50 electric car charger in garage!
The space:
On-site parking is available in the driveway/garage. Due to town regulations, a maximum of four (4) vehicles may be parked on the property.
The bedroom on the bottom floor has two bunk beds. The lower bunks have full-size mattresses, while the upper bunks have twin mattresses. Each bunk bed can either accommodate three children or two adults in total.
Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis. A nonrefundable $100 fee per pet will be applied after booking. Pets may not be left unattended outdoors due to new local ordinances. Dogs must be supervised and leashed at all times. There is a neighbor (in the yellow house next door) who will call the police if there is excessive barking or if a pet gets onto his property. Any fines incurred will be the guest's responsibility.
Interaction with guests:
We take a hands-off approach to guest interaction. Under normal circumstances all communication will be through HomeAway/VRBO, although guests should feel free to contact the host in the event of an emergency.
Guest access
The entire home & property is available for your use, except for the two rooms upstairs marked "Private" (the doors to these rooms are locked).
Please note that we have three exterior security cameras. Two facing the back yard/deck area and one facing the front yard. They will be on during your stay. We also have a Ring doorbell camera. We do not have cameras inside the house.

Had an amazing stay! The house was extremely spacious and Aaron was really easy to get ahold of. We loved hanging out in the sunroom and appreciated all of the amenities. Highly recommend!

The people--communicative:
The owners and manager were super responsive and easy to communicate with. We had a hiccup upon arrival that was addressed immediately.
Wifi and TV--excellent:
The wifi was fast, which meant those of us who had to work remotely could do so. There were a lot of TV channels to choose from, for those that wanted some indoor down time.
Location--terrific:
The house is around the corner from Ocean View brewery and 'Cafe on 26'. It's a 12-minute walk or less to Drifting Grounds (best coffee), Bonkey's (best ice cream), CVS, Royal Farms, a pizza place, Charlie K's BBQ, and a produce stand. There are many more places (like mini golf) within a 20-minute walk. So, you don't have to get in your car all the time.
If you need to turn left on Atlantic in traffic, just go one block east to Central where there is a traffic light and a crosswalk.
House--large and quiet
There were several common areas for people to congregate in. The sunroom was our favorite. We watched the birds in the backyard each morning. The ping-pong table is in the garage, so we also spent time there too. Of course, the most popular area was the kitchen/eating area, which has all the basics and then some.
Other stuff:
They had bikes in decent condition for pedaling around. They didn't have locks, so we didn't leave them unattended. They had various items for the beach (boogie boards, buckets, etc). They also had a ping pong table that is perfect for a rainy day.

This is a beautiful home with restful beds and modern bathrooms. Grill for grilling. Chairs for sitting on the beach. A ping pong table set up in the garage for rainy days. Close to Bethany Beach and nearby fishing. Lovely sunroom. We enjoyed many Monopoly games at the kitchen table. There was even a spoon and fork for a toddler. Aaron was very easy to deal with. Hope to be back again.
