About this house rental

This spacious, beautiful, and well-decorated home is conveniently located at the end of a quiet residential street abutting 8 acres of conservation land. The house is fully furnished & equipped, exceptionally clean, and well-maintained. The main living area consists of a bright and airy open-concept space with cathedral ceiling, multiple skylights, central AC plus a ceiling fan. There is also radiant heat throughout the house and a fireplace in the living room.
The state-of-the-art, fully appointed kitchen has a large island, granite countertops and Jenn-Air stainless appliances. Home is tastefully decorated throughout with a mix of antique and modern furnishings as well as oriental rugs and original artwork.
The primary bedroom suite has a king bed, sliding doors that open to a private deck and an ensuite bath with shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and an ensuite bath, while the third bedroom has twin bunk beds and a full bath adjacent to it.
The lower level has a TV sitting area with sectional sofa. There is also a fourth full bath with shower and washer/dryer.
The exterior includes a large wrap-around deck in back which is ideal for dining or entertaining. Off the primary bedroom suite is a private deck with sitting area and outside the lower level is a patio area with additional seating. There is also an outdoor shower and professionally landscaped gardens.
This ideal vacation home is well equipped with lots of books, games, a foosball table, wifi and 3 televisions with cable. It is perfectly located only a 5-10 minute drive to the towns of Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs or Edgartown where you will find great shops and galleries, movies, theaters, and many wonderful restaurants. Also within a short drive are spectacular beaches, charter fishing, windsurfing, golf, tennis and so much more to make for a perfect Vineyard vacation any time of year.

-THIS IS A SMOKE-FREE RENTAL PROPERTY. SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE HOUSE NOR ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY.
-THIS IS A PET-FREE HOUSE. DUE TO PET ALLERGIES WE ARE NOT ABLE TO ALLOW DOGS OR CATS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. (This includes hypoallergenic dogs.)
-Minimum age for responsible party is 25 years old.
-Discounts are available if there will be fewer than 3 people staying. Please inquire.
-Our cleaning fee covers post-stay cleaning for bookings of 2 weeks or less. Bookings of longer than 2 weeks will require mid-stay cleanings every 10-14 days.
-House is best suited to groups of 5 or fewer adults since smallest bedroom has a bunk bed and we prefer not to have adults sleep in the upper bunk.

Well located in Vineyard Haven. Lisa was a great host sharing a lot of information about Martha’s Vineyard which prepared us well for our visit. The house was extremely well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Everything was provided and we received some flowers and a gift of chocolate at check-in. We look forward to returning in the future.

Ours was a birthday trip and we couldn’t have chosen better. Lisa,the owner, met us, explained everything, had small gifts for us, and even went out and purchased a tick remover when one of us found one attached. The house was immaculate and had all the essentials, and it’s in in a great location for visiting the island. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We spent a month at Lisa and Ivory's MVY rental that we affectionately coined our Treehouse home. The location was excellent: backing onto a lush forested area which gave the home a sense of privacy and tranquility whilst still providing easy access to all the amenities of Vineyard Haven and beyond. The architecture is thoughtful with windows/skylights to maximize the light and view from inside the house whilst the outside decking facilitated a seamless indoor/outdoor living experience. Every element of the interior has been thought through with finesse, from the selection of tasteful furnishings through to the smallest detail of sufficient measuring spoons in the kitchen drawer.It was our first visit to MVY, Lisa gladly shared local knowledge to ensure we enjoyed every aspect of our vacation.Every detail of our visit from checkin/checkout through to suggested activities was thoughtful in regards to the current pandemic. The property was spotlessly clean.We genuinely appreciated Lisa and Ivory's hospitality and look forward to returning to the Vineyard soon.
