The Carriage House apartment has a full kitchen with cookware, a quaint bedroom with heart pine flooring, a Queen sized bed, and a flat screen HDTV. The completely remodeled bathroom has an updated shower with room for two. The cozy sitting room is a great place to relax and includes a flat screen HDTV. The screened in porch is a great place for breakfast or evening cocktails.

There are also charter services that offer parasailing, kayaking, bike rentals and ferry service to Shackelford Banks.
The owners live on the premises and are available should you need anything. They also own a 2 bedroom/sleeps 4 on the adjacent property, 129 Craven Street, listing #3777505ha and a NEWLY listed Bungalow listing#1257580 offering a King bed/sleeps 2. Please search the numbers to view the listings.

We truly could not have asked for a better place to stay! Steve was great…super helpful and friendly! I worked while my husband was fishing. The screened in porch was perfect for that! The gentle breeze and the sweet smell of honeysuckle made for a peaceful trip! We will definitely be back! The driveway is narrow (as is most of them). Works great for “normal” sized vehicles. We drove my husband’s Chevrolet 2500, so it was a bit tight. Don’t let that deter you though. Thank you so much Steve for sharing your cute carriage house with us!

Lovely place just a block from the harbor. Walking to shops, restaurants, and some history spots makes the visit so laid back and enjoyable! The ocean and aquarium nearby. A visit is highly recommended!

Very cute and nicely decorated Carriage House! Our Host, Steve, was very friendly, thoughtful and kind. The property is in a beautifully landscaped setting. The location is near perfection. It’s one block from Front Street with the view of Carrot Island’s horses, waterfront eateries and shops. The house itself has most everything you want or need. Although we did not do any cooking, the kitchen is well appointed with most anything you may want or need. The bed is super comfortable. There’s a great furnished screened in porch and when we were there the beautiful Jasmine was in full bloom. Heavenly. Thank you, Steve, for making your wonderful property available! We look forward to staying again.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House. Very convenient to shopping, restaurants or just chilling on the waterfront. It is clean and well thought out. The bed and living room furniture are all very comfortable. There are plenty of towels and other essentials provided allowing you to just relax and enjoy your stay. We love the screened porch and beautiful yard. Steve is a great host, always helpful and responsive and an invaluable source for local information. We highly recommend the Carriage House and any property hosted by Steve.
