About this apartment rental

This is a garden apartment with a view. Tastefully decorated with a modern kitchen equipped with all your basic needs including three full size stainless steel appliances and a dining table. You will find a two large sofas, one is a queen size sofa bed, gas fireplace, ottoman, flat screen TV, desk and task chair, and wifi connectivity in the living room. In the bedroom you will find a two twin size beds placed side by side = king size bed, full size dresser, two night tables, two lamps and a full length mirror. There is a three fixture, bright bathroom. There is a covered patio with BBQ for your exclusive use and shared fenced back yard. There is a shared laundry room and parking for up to two vehicles (tandem). We live upstairs and will be more than happy to help with directions or recommendations as well as assistance with public transit if requested. The location is a short drive to shopping, parks, lakes, beaches, and directly on transit route. 40 minutes drive to your choice of three local ski hills and 90 minute drive to Whistler.

The view of Coquitlam & mountains was amazing. Location to shopping, restaurants, parks & leisure centres was great. The bed definitely needs an upgrade. Kitchen had adequate supplies & the suite was very clean.

Place was spacious, well equipped, good location. It does have a steep driveway so when I arrived on a dark night, and raining, I did get out of the car to make sure I knew where I was going. Highly recommend you do a little scouting because without it, it's pretty easy to hit things on the way down the drive when it's your first time and it's very dark. For the price point, it's a very nice deal.

Place was extreme clean. Included all amenities, and host was very accommodating and did introduce herself at t at the beginning of this day. It doesn’t indicate laundry service, but that is available upon request.

We stayed for two nights at the end of our holiday travelling from England to Seattle and Canada. I honestly wish we had stayed for longer. Everything was just great. When we arrived, the hosts made us feel so welcome and at home. The view from the garden was incredible. The property was spotless and very homely! If we ever come that way again, I would not hesitate to book here again. Can't recommend enough!

We spent our time in downtown vancouver. This place was easy to navigate to downtown using public transport. Great value stay. Beautiful property and great views. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean. We would definitely stay again!

A very well equipped, spacious property with good transport links to Downtown Vancouver. We loved the views from the patio area (saw hummingbirds visit the hanging baskets!) - a lovely space to eat breakfast /relax in after sightseeing. Very comfortable and very large bed!!!! We used to stay at hotel but the cost is getting expensive so we decided to stay in air b&b. Everything was perfect with our family. There were enough towels and bed linens. The VIEW is stunning! To wake up to the mountains every morning seemed like being in a movie. No photograph can do it justice. Gina is a wonderful hostess - very approachable, quick to respond, and just an all-around lovely human being. The rooms are spacious and decorated tastefully. Make sure to read the instructions for the fireplace, and you will be cozy whenever you wish. Excellent kitchen with everything you need, including coffee & tea - just bring groceries! Shower pressure is to die for!!! It’s one of the most important parts of a stay, and they nailed it 😁 Nice quiet family neighbourhood, but a very quick drive anywhere. Great to have off-street parking there. Loved having laundry facilities available on a schedule - helped us a lot! Very quiet, exceptionally clean, well-maintained property. The next time we visit our daughter and son-in-law, we will definitely be booking here again. If you’re on the fence, jump down and book this before it’s gone!

This is our second time staying at the Howard Johansson, and our stay was even better than the first. It will continue to be our first choice location for our twice a year visits to Coquitlam. The bear was a nice added touch, but don't feel like you have to produce him every time we visit

Pictures don't do this justice! Its very spacious, clean and some of the best views you will get in PoCo. We loved having our own little oasis in the back yard where we could enjoy with family. Gina and Peter are great hosts, they made us feel very welcome. Thanks again for a great stay.

The best two weeks we have ever spent with the possible exception of The Old Key West Resort at Disney World. Attractive, comfortable furnishings. Bed better than we have at home. Plenty of extra towels and bedding. Well stocked kitchen. Well-organized guest book that answered every question we could come up with. The stay was great, just as advertised online. The host was very friendly and apologized for some noise in the house when they had a graduation dinner. It was fine and didn’t bother us at all. The only improvement would be a new mattress as the one in the bedroom was very soft and uneven. For one person it would be fine. We would stay again!
