Chestnut Cabin is one of only 3 cabins onsite, with plenty of space to accommodate up to 16 people. (The base rate covers up to 10 guests. Each additional guest is $25/night.) We accommodate many wedding party guests, youth groups and family reunions. We allow up to 2 well-behaved dogs, but ask that they not be allowed on the furniture or beds.

we rented all three of their available cabins for a family wedding. It was perfect! The cabins were next to each other and easily walkable. the area was so peaceful, we could have spent all day simply sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch.

We came to Weaverville for a family wedding, and were lucky to stay at this property! It is centrally located in town, and both the road and driveway were easy to navigate (not always the case with mountain cabins!) The cabin itself is generously sized and very clean. There is a front porch that is perfect for a quiet coffee or crossword puzzle.. We didn’t need to interact with the owners much, but when we did, they were kind and very responsive. This was probably my favorite short term rental ever. We highly recommend it!

This place could not have been more perfect for our group. We were in town for my partner’s 30th birthday with friends and we really enjoyed how the group could spread out in the space (9 total). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals. The porch was awesome. I was delightfully surprised at the entertainment options in Weaverville that we could walk to in 10 mins. When we went into downtown Asheville, Ubers were easy to call- they take 15-20 mins to arrive, which was totally fine, we just built that into our plans! The space truly made the trip for our group, and it was everything described in the listing/pictures and more. The host was very responsive to small questions we had during our stay as well. I’d go back to NC just to stay at this house.

My guys, very professional guys, really enjoyed staying there instead of hotel rooms. They were able to grill out in the evening, and enjoyed sitting on the porch.

This home was very charming and spacious. The kitchen had the comforts of home for cooking and dining. The porch is a beautiful way enjoy your morning coffee or read a book. There are 2 TVs in the home for watching your favorite sports ( the TV's could use an upgrade) You have to enter in the home on the bottom floor. The main living space is upstairs including the master bedroom and 2 additional rooms. This can be a problem for people who do not have the ability to walk up and down stairs. Overall.... This was a very nice home. It's very close to shopping, food, Ashville and the Biltmore.

Multiple generations of our family met here for the week of Thanksgiving, traveling from Southern AL, Northern VA, and Central VA. It was perfect for us and one of the most well-equipped VRBO homes we’ve ever rented. The house was cozy and it was convenient to Asheville. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable (some were even adjustable). Great communication with the owner when we couldn’t get the TV to work to watch The World Cup! All fixed in no time. Would definitely recommend!

The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. The hosts offered everything we would need, from firewood to dishes to propane for the grill. I did find it odd that we were expected to spray the showers with tile cleaner after each use, and that we were asked to wash and dry the towels before the end of our stay , but this was also my first Vrbo stay, so maybe that’s the norm

This rental is worth it for the front porch alone. Rocking chairs, birdsong, the greenest of trees across the way. Really, really nice. We had a large group, all in town for a wedding. The house had everything we needed. We all loved it. Another perk is that you feel a thousand miles from everything, but the fun of Asheville is just a few minutes away. Highly recommended!

Lovely cabin with enough room for my kids and grandkids to stay with us. It was stocked with some essentials that I forgot at home like coffee filters and cooking oil. It had enough pots,pans, and dishes to cook for a large family while staying in the cabin. This cabin was conveniently located near the central part of Weaverville which had grocery stores and restaurants. Plus a short ride to Asheville and the Biltmore.
