About this cabin rental
Beautiful Acorn Cabin has all the modern conveniences (full kitchen, central air, gas fireplace, cable TV) along with a shaded porch, rocking chairs, and quiet woods. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs, but not on the furniture. Three queen beds can accommodate up to 6 people. (The base rate covers up to 4 guests. Each additional guest is $25/night.) Easy access to the mountains, Asheville, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Situated just 30 yards from our other cabins:

EVENTS: Our insurance does not cover events held at the cabins, nor is our parking usually adequate for parties including folks who are not Cedar Creek guests. Therefore, rehearsal dinners, bridesmaid luncheons, reunion dinners or any event, indoors or outdoors, that includes significant numbers of people who are not cabin guests, are not permitted.

Attention to detail is excellent; very clean, well equipped. Great location, accessible to the Asheville area. Hosts are pleasant and responsive to any requests.

The hosts were awesome with communication! We were in NC doing the Blue Ridge Shop Hop for quilters and had lots of miles under our belt each day. The beds were very comfortable and I loved having two different living rooms- one with the lower level and one with the middle level. It’s very continent having toilet facilities on each level. The neighbors were friendly waving and speaking to us. Each of us had our dog and the neighborhood and town are very dog friendly. Sunday we did a relaxing day. We had purchased books from Dreaming of the Sea quilt shop (the author Tara Ryan owns the shop). With the windows open, the sweet smell of honeysuckle on the breeze and huge pillows at my back I read one of the books in the window seat while indulging in a ginger florintine from Well Bred Cafe- a must visit eatery. The kitchen is well furnished even having coffee available so that we could have a steaming cup after a long day on the road. All needed linens were available. We were able to wash our clothes on our lazy day so we came home with the only worn clothes being the ones we had on.If I am lucky enough to be back in the Weaverville/Asheville area I will check for availability of Acorn Cabin first since it now feels like home away from home.

The cabin was everything we needed for us and the dogs. It was close to Asheville and downtown Weaverville. We would like to return soon.
