We had the best time staying at the Grand Solmar with our friends and kids! Our host made it easy, setting it up and making sure we knew all the requirements and had the correct paperwork to make it easy when we got there. The rooms were great, more spacious than I anticipated. The property is very clean and the staff was very nice and family friendly. The pools are beautiful, with a great view of the waves crashing from the ledge of the infinity pools, and a swim up bar (the drink of the day is always two for one!). The ocean isn’t swimmable on the property, but it’s just a short hike to Lover’s Beach or a water taxi to others. Short walk to the marina or into town where there are some great restaurants (don’t miss DOC for Italian, Nick-San for sushi, or Tres Gallos for Mexican). Had an amazing week, and we’ll definitely be back!
