About this apartment rental
Spacious 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom 3rd floor condo in oceanfront building in the Windy Hill section of North Myrtle Beach. The 3rd floor balcony (top floor) offers great views of the beach and ocean. Ocean Pier I also has a large sun deck and beautiful oceanfront pool with numerous lounge chairs. Parking is available for up to 2 cars per unit.
Local attractions include restaurant row, Tanger Outlets, Barefoot landing, House of Blues, water parks, the Sea Aquarium, Alabama Theater and all that Myrtle and North Myrtle have to offer.
Our condo features a well equipped kitchen with full size stainless steel appliances. The Living room has a full sleeper sofa and a flat screen smart TV Cable service and free wi-if are included. The master bedroom has a king size bed, flat screen TV, and en-suite bathroom. The 2nd bathroom has 2 twin beds and a flat screen TV. The unit also has an in unit washer and dryer for your convenience.
Our unit sits on the side of a direct oceanfront building. Balcony offers direct unobstructed ocean views as shown in the photos. ***THE UNIT IS ON THE 3RD FLOOR. THE BUILDING DOES NOT HAVE AN ELEVATOR.***
You are welcome to bring your own linens if you wish. Free included linens consist of sheets for 1 king bed and 2 twin beds and bath towels for up to 6 guests. Linens are NOT included for the sofa bed. If you intend to use the pull out, you will need to bring sheets for it. We recommend that you bring beach towels. Guests supply own soaps (dish, laundry, bath) and paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, trash bags, etc). We rent to responsible adults 25 years and older only. The 25 or older renter must be on site during the stay. No exceptions. Motorcycles, trailers, golf carts and pets are not permitted on the property. $49 property fee is an ACCIDENTAL damage waiver.

The Host is amazing, she is on top of things. All you have to do is let her know of a problem and she gets it taken care of immediately.

Pros
-very close access to the beach
-nice location
-good view for a side view
-affordable
-surface clean
-a couple chairs and beach toys provided
-pool was clean
Cons
-the mattress on the sleeper is basically just metal. We had to get an air mattress and we are not picky. Not even a small child would be comfy so the listing should say sleeps 4 not 6.
-other guests seen smoking weed, the smell was pretty bad throughout the complex. This was multiple other guests, not just 1.
-A/C units very old
-everything was stripped down. We were warned about the soap and paper products, but it felt like there is very little effort into making this place feel like your home for the week. Bare minimum stuff. Not even hand washing soap.
-ice maker broken
-linens very scratchy, towels had holes in them
-funky smell
-pool is small
Overall, it worked for what we needed. But if you’re looking for a place with the extra comforts and hospitality this is unfortunately not it.
