The location was great for what we wanted to do. We had no wifi the entire weekend which made it very difficult to plan our vacation. We called and texted multiple times with no resolution. This was frustrating. The pool was dirty but cleaned same day. Not enough toilet paper. Fans and air conditioner very old and noisy. A mirror fell off the bathroom wall and smashed our bathroom items. Vacasa texted often but were of no use. Overall disappointed for the cost of this vrbo. Doubt we will book again here or with vrbo.

Home was perfect for adult family of 5, both condition and location. I’ve been to Key West before and knew what to expect being so close to everything. The place was exactly like shown on the app. It was clean and very spacious. For future reference it should state that the entrance is the side door and not the front. Highly recommend.

If location is high on your list I would recommend this property. Although it is older ( I believe built in the 1930’s) it has great charm and is close to everywhere you want to be. We walked everywhere and were so close to Duvall street we were able to enjoy all it had to offer. The pool is heated which is great for December.

House was very nice and roomy. Clean, nicely decorated, lots of space. Beds were comfy and the pool was wonderful after a hot day out and about. Live band played each night at restaurant/bar on other side of back yard privacy fence. We enjoy listening to live bands so it just added to the ambiance of hanging by the pool. Location was fantastic!! Short walk to restaurants, bars, shops, attractions, and Mallory Square Park. Only downside...downstairs shower was a little tight.

We stayed in the property March 20-23, 2024. Home was clean and spacious, except the shared bath is small. But several irritating problems kept adding up. Home is described as 219 Whitehead "Rear". There are two "rears". Walking into the back yard, you don't necessarily see the "rear rear" and we spent many frustrating minutes trying the code on the front "rear." Then, when we found the "Rear Rear" the 10 digit code would not work. More frustration. On the good side, however, a Vacasa guy, Rob, was prompt to come and give us a temp code. The description does not reveal that there is a bar venue immediately behind the fence where there is loud music until 11:00 pm or so at night. WIFi, "buggy" and difficult, if not impossible, to get on. Thankfully, I am an Xfinity customer and I, and more importantly, my grandson, were able to get on Xfinity. Very low water pressure on the ground floor sink and shower. There are lights above the dining room table where I sat up my work, but, guess what, the switch plate has no switch. The owners left no directions/suggestions sheet. Washer and dryer, yes, but you have to go around back into a garage. Pool is not heated, and was cool enough that we did not use. Probably would be OK in the summer months.

The rental had 3 bedrooms with2 having queen beds, and the other had 2 twin beds and lots of entertaining rooms. Great furnishings and the private pool was perfect and used each day for a couple hours of recharge. The location is the best and I would say is perfect, perfect, for adults as everything is walking distance. You can also hear live music from the nearby bars. We loved it

Check-in was seamless, very clean bathrooms and bedrooms and the parking and house were very nice. The pool we did not use as it was filled with some debris...possible from high winds but maybe more attention to this is required. The house needs some TLC as it needs painting in bathrooms and powerwashing outside...but hey, your in Key West!

We really loved this home, only a few issues - first was the noise from the bar behind the house; although it stopped at 1am, the heads up would have been nice. Second, there was construction on the front of the house which started at 7am so sleeping in wasn't an option. The third was no locks on the bathroom door; the downstairs bathroom has adjoining doors between the two bedrooms and NO LOCKS. This caused some issues between two of the couples staying with us and really should be addressed for future residents.

You can't beat the location, but the house really needs a good cleaning and some updating. Corners, baseboards, walls, furniture was pretty dirty. The downstairs shower has such little water pressure that it was unusable so 6 people had to share the upstairs shower. The house had some sort of bug infestation. We were all bit up and it was happening inside the house. We also think that we got sick from the tap water. Some of the furniture was actually falling apart, especially the outside furniture. At least buy some new cushions! Vacasa customer service was very good. They did deal with some issues quickly for us and called several times to check on us.

As every posts says, it’s a great location. BUT…we didn’t have hot water the entire stay. We called and they said they replaced the tank but we never got hot water. The water pressure is too low in the kitchen to wash dishes. One of our guests stepped on glass and cut her foot. The floor in the downstairs bedroom collapsed! There is construction going on in the front part of the house so no sleeping in but at least they were there to fix the sunk in floor. I think we should have been warned about 7-8am construction noise. The pool was never cleaned and is dirty and the pump didn’t work. Vacasa did compensate us for some of our stay. I hope the home owner fixes this property as it is the perfect layout and location.

If I would have seen the house from the outside I would have never rented this home. There are no functioning exterior lights that light up the walk way. The front of the house has two or three air conditioners hanging out of the windows, the exterior has not been power washed for a long time and a construction sign at the front door to name a few. There was a cracked window in the main front door, the light fixtures don't match on the outside, and some of the exterior light bulbs were out. Inside the house: some of the glass globes on fans were missing, the slats on the downstairs doors were broken missing and miss matched. All exterior doors could not open without a lot of help. The downstairs toilet was not stable and moved side to side. Throughout the home was unfinished dry wall or peeling paint. The chair in the upstairs bedroom should be throw out based on the condition of upholstery. The upstairs balcony was dirty and unusable. The positives were the pool and cleanliness of the home. This place could be great but it is tired and needs a lot of upgrades and repairs. Based on the price and the condition of the home, I would not rent this place again.

We loved the location of this spacious gem. The noise at night, as mentioned in other reviews was quite loud and quite late but if you are prepared for that then it won't surprise you. The house was tidy and comfortable and the pool was awesome. For some reason the pool has a rule that you can't have any balls in the pool. We thought that was strange as we wanted to toss a ball. Some of the doors are very difficult to close. One you have to go outside and push it from the outside. I would recommend to the management company that someone goes around to all of the doors and cleans around the handles, this was quite dirty, especially on the entry door. Other than those minor issues, this is a great place to stay. Plenty of towels, shampoo, soap and a lovely atmosphere.

The house could not be in a better location. It was impressively clean!
Pleasant surprise…..soap, shampoo, bath towels & pool towels- plenty for everyone. The home was well equipped with all the comforts of home. The pool was great, as well.
The front unit is under construction. We were startled when we arrived, from the appearance but our place was to the left and outback. All was well when we realized we had a private separate entrance. One private designated parking spot- which was excellent.
The house could use some updating but it didn’t bother anyone.
There is a bar right next door and one across the way. When they each had their bands playing simultaneously, it was annoying. They were playing over each other. Other than that….there’s really nothing negative to stay. I will definitely, without question, rent here again.

The house is in the perfect location and common areas and master bedroom very spacious, but the two bedrooms and bathroom on main level are fairly small. As mentioned in other reviews, this house is located near a bar that plays live music. If that’s your thing, you’ll have a blast as the music is great. If you’re looking for quiet, this isn’t the house for you.

Excellent location on north Duvall, near amenities but not too close to the boats, marina etc. This property has so much potential, and it has to be taken for what it is, a great location with comfortable, well made up beds. We eat meals out, so didn't need the kitchen really. Used the pool and patio. Would be great to see some new patio furniture next time. Noticed that the living room couch was replaced with a very nice new couch. Thank you! TV was easy to use. Bathrooms finishes are rough, but we didn't spend much time in the unit so did not matter. Good hot water and pressure! Safe, secure, and the dedicated parking spot was key! Perfect for the golf cart. We found rooms for my wife's parents at the La Concha Hotel nearby. The live music did not bother us. We used to live under the "El" in Chicago, and you didn't hear it after awhile. Same thing here, and the music stops at 12:30am. We also spend time in and love those live music establishments!

We are a family with 2 adult children (23 & 21). Property condition: The property was in good condition. The pool was a nice touch and I wish we could have used it but the property is so convenient to everything that we never wanted to just chill at the house. Even though the property is advertised as a 3 bedroom house, I would not book this property for a family. The upstairs is private and nice. The 2 downstairs bedrooms are small and they share a bathroom with a REALLY small shower. Also, all of the downstairs bedroom doors are louvered so there is absolutely no sound privacy. If anybody is in the kitchen or living room, everyone in those 2 bedrooms knows it. There's no door on the upstairs bedroom either - just a staircase leading up - but that didn't bother us. Beds were comfortable. Adequately stocked with dishes and supplies. Nice one-car, off-street parking area if you need it. Owner: This property is managed by a company named Vacasa. Communications were prompt and professional. Visited local office (8 blocks up the street) and staff were awesome. Plane arrived before and departed after check-in/out times and staff let us store our bags at office and use their bathrooms. A nice convenience.. Location: The location near the corner of Whitehead/Caroline Sts was an awesome location for being in the middle of things. One block off Duval St meant you were steps away from the action and easy to pop back home. Beware that this property is right next to Hanks Hair of the Dog Saloon as well as across the parking lot from Smokin' Tuna Saloon. You WILL enjoy music from both places as if you were actually there until at least midnight. This did not bother us because most nights we were out later than this, but beware if you have travelers who go to bed earlier. Overall, we were happy with this property and would return as a couple, but would probably not stay here again as a family. Due to the downstairs bedrooms and location right next to the bars, It is best suited for a couple who is out late every night.

This was the perfect spot for my family to stay while in Key West. The house was just as listed. If you want peaceful experience, this house is not for you. You are next door to bars and you hear music until 2 in the morning.. We loved it and enjoyed the location. We will definitely stay here again.
