Fantastic 2600 square foot home, completed in October of 2003. You can hear the sound of the surf from this upside down house on 3 acres with cathedral ceilings, tons of sunlight and sweeping ocean views. Warm, light, open, airy and peaceful describe this inviting getaway.
Top floor has an open floor plan, fireplace and cathedral ceilings in the living room and dining room, master suite with cathedral ceiling and balcony, and kitchen which has Corian counters, maple butcher block island with Italian glass pendants. Living room opens up to a large deck with 180 degree ocean views. First floor has a large entryway, 3 bedrooms, den with a daybed and terrace doors that open to the second deck.
Outdoors there is a large private yard with hydrangeas, beach roses, stone walls and walkways, wild flowers and a large yard with a great outdoor shower. It is a short walk to the ocean and 6 miles to town.
The house is fully equipped for your vacation needs. Fully furnished with nice touches and extensive landscaping. Amenities include DVD library with over 200 selections, 32 inch HD TV, all cable channels, DVR capabilities on 2 televisions, tons of books, puzzles, games, free long distance, hammock on large private lawn, 6 burner stainless steel Weber gas grill, a fully equipped kitchen with an array of pots and pans, attractive dishes and serving pieces, Cuisinart, wok, cookbooks, etc.

Our third summer at Canopache, we absolutely love it here. The house is perfect for families, with a massive yard for tons of activities. We love the location, a walk to the beach, a 5 minute ride to Sconset, or a 15 minute ride to town, really can't beat it. House is always well maintained, can't wait to come back!

We had a great week on Nantucket at Canopache, despite a hurricane and only a few sunny days. The layout of the house is ideal for two families. We had plenty of space. The kitchen has mostly everything you'd need for cooking, including a Vitamix which we loved having to make smoothies! The owner of the home is extremely communicative and responsive. One thing to note is that there is no AC in the house. It was unnecessary while we were there, as the temperature was very cool, but if it had been a really hot week this would have been tough. The owner did mention there's always a breeze, which we definitely found to be true, but sometimes the humidity was very heavy. Overall, the house was as expected and we would recommend it to others!

Marcie was a great landlord. She let us check in/out late. The house was perfect- spacious, clean and a great location. We will be back next year.
