The pictures do not reflect how exceptionally beautiful the accommodation is. It is even more beautiful than in the pictures. We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend Gio and Julie as hosts.

My family thouroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment on Sproat Lake. We kyaked, swam, hiked and fished with a nearby Charter based out of Port Alberni. A great Fall weekend get-away for couples and families alike. The hostess, Julie, was incredibly welcoming and accomodating! We had a super stay at Julie and Gio’s. Despite arriving during a downpour they greeted us and were available to help get us settled. Julie even had the fireplace going for a cozy welcome. Julie was very accommodating and checked in with us, via email, a few times to ensure we had everything we needed. The unit is clean, spacious and well-appointed with everything you would need from kitchen items, linens and general comfort items. Despite sharing the property with Julie and Gio, we felt we had lots of privacy. Had the weather cooperated, we would have enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks that were set out for our use. The view of the lake is awesome and having the undercover outdoor sitting area helped us to enjoy that, even in cooler temperatures. We would definitely recommend a stay in this unit.

The space is very accommodating and comfortable! The hosts were awesome to deal with and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Great views and plenty to do from kayaking or paddle boarding to relaxing on the dock. Will definitely try to rebook when we come back to the area.
