About this house rental
2 bedroom with full bath in-law unit available. Separate entrance from our backyard. Spacious 2 rooms. First room has king size bed, second room has a bed that convert from a twin to a full size bed , Large flat screenTV, full size refrigerator, Stove top and Microwave. Updated bathroom has shower, sink and toilet.
Amenities include shampoo, soap, blow dryer, Iron, toothpaste, towels, toilet paper and more....
Our price includes cleaning fees.
We are located right off Hwy 13 in Oakland which is very centrally located and in a safe neighborhood. We have lots of free parking in front of our house. We are 10 miles from Downtown San Francisco, 30 miles from San Jose and 40 miles from Napa or Sonoma. We have regular bus service that goes to our BART train station and downtown Oakland. We are 2 blocks from Grocery and drug store. We have tons of hiking and biking trails close by and a nice view from our house.
We like to welcome our guest off with some basic food and drinks such as bottled water, fruit and snacks.
We also have a swing in the backyard and an area outside for smokers. We would love to spoil you so hope you book with us.
You can use our Mountain bikes, camping gear, BBQ grill and more.
We have Comcast wifi and full cable TV including HBO, Showtime and Cinemax. We also have been known to give guest a lift or let them use our Gourmet kitchen at times
We typically greet our guest upon arrival and provide them with information on our accommodation. We love meeting new people but at the same time respect our guest privacy so we leave it up to the guest on how much interaction they would like. We also pride ourselves as local experts in where to go and what to do. Especially when it comes to food and wine.
We have plenty of free street parking. The bus is 2 blocks away and goes to the BART train. We also use casual carpool which takes us for free to San Francisco every weekday morning.

This was the best place I have ever stayed with the most incredible people. The place is so clean and beautiful with a breathtaking view. I highly recommend Chris and Lea's place. 5 stars.

The owners were warm and friendly. It was great, especially when they turned up the thermostat to help me adjust to the first few days of chilly Bay Area weather. Everything I needed was provided. I especially loved sitting in the garden swing enjoying the sunshine. Will definitely return again.

We came for a niece’s wedding in the redwoods. This place was minutes away and close enough to tour San Francisco. It was an awesome place!

Out of all the different places I have stayed in Oakland for work, this was the most comfortable and enjoyable. It was exactly what I needed for my stay. And I felt very welcomed by my hosts. I hope to stay here anytime I am in Oakland.
