Very nice, new paint outside. Inside was nicely decorated, furniture was in good condition. Kitchen had all the equipment needed. Our stay was perfect for the month we stayed. Owner was very accommodating to our needs. We would stay here again.

We recently had the pleasure of staying 5 weeks at John's house. The house is absolutely beautiful, and our stay was wonderful. The house is very modern, beautifully decorated and is furnished with all new appliances. In addition, all of the bedrooms have new and very comfortable mattresses. The heated pool was really a delight and the outside grill made for some great dinners.
Location-wise, the place is fantastic. Situated in Key Largo is great because traffic there is not as bad as farther south in the keys. Its right across from John Pennekamp which has some great kayaking and not too far from Dagney Johnson. We rode our bikes to both places several times. In addition, the house is on a canal. We put our kayak in several times right from the dock and went exploring. We ran into several manatees and enjoyed watching them. We also liked watching the iguanas which would hang out on the trees across from the dock and would sometimes come to visit us. But we kept the pool water too warm for them so they wouldn't jump in for a swim. (LOL)
John was an excellent host and responded to all of our requests immediately. The stay was absolutely enjoyable, and we hope to do it again next year.

My husband and I wintered here. We checked in January and left early March. During that time we got to know the area pretty well. You cannot beat this location. It’s close to everything. Check in was so easy. The owner met us and went over everything. If I had any questions or issues he very quickly responded and did everything to make sure we were comfortable and having a good time. The house is beautiful and the pool is amazing. The canal is good for kayaking and fishing. Definitely a 5 star stay. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed.
