Check out the Villa 17-80, and enjoy the full panoramic ocean view from this dramatic corner villa, which is both spacious and comfortable. It received a complete makeover, including a totally updated kitchen, new wood floors in the living room and bedrooms, and all new window coverings. Electric Fireplaces were installed in the Living Room and Master Bedroom, including a new 60 inch Flat Screen in the living room and 40 inch in the master bedroom, professionally mounted above the fireplaces. French doors open onto the balcony from the master bedroom suite and the living room. You'll find a comfortable queen aerobed in the living room, with the 60 inch flat panel TV with a Blu-Ray DVD player. Only 27 steps to the road and a total of 1190 SF. H1780 | | Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (pool, spa, health club, putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area). Very beautiful and clean property. Views are amazing. Golf cart is very convenient for getting back and forth to Avalon. Pool and tennis courts were great.My biggest issue is the confusion and disconnect between VRBO and Catalina Island Vacations (who apparently manages the property). I was supposed to sign a (lengthy) contract prior to our arrival but the emails were sent to my spam folder and not from VRBO. I eventually received a phone call and a voicemail stating they required the signed contract at least a day before arrival, and that several attempts to email me and text me were left unanswered. I had received no text messages, but checked my spam folder and signed the contract initialing the multitude of property rules. They then said they'd send me check-in instructions via text which never came. Some instructions came via the VRBO chat, but they were insufficient and confusing with what was stated in the VRBO description. The directions to the property on VRBO are flat-out incorrect and need to be corrected ASAP. It indicated a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal, which actually takes you to the Catalina Island Vacations office (maybe? I didn't actually see an office). Probably would've known this if got the text. The office closes at 5pm and doesn't answer calls except for emergencies (and if it's not an emergency, you risk a 100 fine for calling after hours). A cab driver eventually told us you need to take a 30 cab to the property (not walkable at all).

It was a beautiful space, well stocked, with excellent communication from the host! I look forward to my next stay!!!

A bunch of stuff listed as amenities was not available, told I needed to bring my own croquet, tennis and mini golf equipment AFTER I arrived. Who travels with Croquet stuff? Don't list it if not available! ALSO we did not have working wifi. Could not watch TV or get on internet and I have 3 teens. Lastly the golf cart was bootleg and smelled really bad of gas. My kids got sick riding in it. We liked the view and location but don't promise stuff you don't have and maybe a refund for no internet? Especially since they threatened to fine us for every thing we did including stepping of balcony after 9pm.
