About this apartment rental
The Summit Condominium complex is located in the Village area, just steps across the private parking lot to the stairs (long, steep) leading to Village Central and the slopes.
We suggest riding FREE shuttle.Ours is a privately-owned condominium with spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated casual rooms where guests can relax in front of the beautiful, cozy, warm propane fire place (no fire wood to carry)with a good book or a favorite TV show after a long day on the slopes, hiking, cycling or sight seeing. Relax in front of the fire, Ah-h-h. We provide a top notch kitchen with all appliances, large and small, blender,crock-pot,coffee maker(Keurig single cup/full pot combination). Spices, coffee creamers,sweeteners, and chocolate mixes are provided for guest's use. We leave excellent CA wines for those who would like to 'exchange,' just let us know. There are games,cards, and novels available for children and adults...if you don't finish a book you are reading,take it home with you.
The Summit has gone through a $1.5 million+ renovation to the 4 buildings and landscape in the past five years,and we regularly upgrade our own unit and amenities to assure our guests a comfortable, relaxing visit. A short walk to good restaurants, and entertainment (game room under the dome w/mountain climb and skate boarding for the kids and a comedy club for adults,)or ride the FREE Snowshoe Hare(shuttle bus,)any place on the mountain and to Silver Creek where tubing and Night skiing are available.The bus stops in front of the Condo every 15 to 30 minutes from 7 am until 3 am. There are many weekend activities through the ski season and during the summer months, events such as Blues, Brews and Bar-B-Q's week-end,The Wine and Jazz Festival,and mountain bike races, to name a few. We are a short drive to some of the finest white-water rafting in the U.S., the Cranberry Glades(a natural prehistoric forest created during the ice Age,)the Cass Scenic Railroad where folks can ride the old logging, steam engine powered train through the mountains and Greenbank Observatory, home of the world's largest movable radio telescope..
Thirty percent of our previous guests have returned each season and begin making reservations for ski season in June & July. Rental rates are reasonable. Give us a call, e-mail, and check us out on VRBO, we would love to have you visit.

Perfect location to access the village without paying village prices. Shuttle service to the front door was perfect. Definitely will be staying here from now on.

The condo was perfect. Bigger than the pictures show and very close to the mountain. We didn’t need to use our car all trip!

We stayed over the weekend and very much enjoyed the access this location had to the Village and other Snowshoe locations. This spot was nice, warm, and large enough for our needs. We even contacted the owner about an earlier check in as we had folks from out of state driving in and wanted to make sure they were able to unwind and rest after their long drive. The owner was pleasant and informed us we could enter earlier than the 5:00p check-in so long as housekeeping had finished. Though we enjoyed our stay, there were several maintenance items that did not appear to be kept up with. Firstly, the fireplace did not light. We attempted to contact the owner to see if there was information not shown online or in the unit about how to turn it on, but she never responded. Second, the wall heater in the entry way is missing the button to turn it on and off, so it was out of commission the entire stay. There were several lamps in the unit that were missing their light bulbs and the television in one of the bedrooms was missing its remote and wouldn’t turn on. There was also a sauna in unit that was not advertised and did not include instructions that we attempted to use, but it took over an hour to reach a normal sauna temperature (approximately 100 degrees fahrenheit). We contacted the owner about all of these things. Then, when we were leaving, we found that our car had an unauthorized parking ticket stuck to the windshield.
