About this house rental
Our spacious mountain home, is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Bear Paw, near Murphy, NC., and has a $Million View of the lake and mountains. It features four bedrooms, with queen beds, and three bathrooms, each with double vanities, high Kohler toilets, and tiled showers. We now have STARLINK as our internet provider and the speed is 100-200 Mbps. We completed a beautiful renovation in May 2022, so everything is modern and updated.
The upper level features the master suite, along with an en suite bathroom and landing with a lounge chair and spectacular views. The landing is the perfect place to curl up with a good book.
The middle floor has two bedrooms, a bath with soaking tub and shower, and high Kohler toilet, living room, dining area and kitchen. The open living room has a stacked stone gas fireplace with a timer/thermostat which is very easy to operate. Wood floors and soaring tongue and groove ceilings add to the warmth. The well-supplied kitchen has quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, including a French door refrigerator with icemaker, a convection and air fryer stove, over-the-stove microwave and dishwasher. The dining table easily seats eight, and the barstools and bar are convenient for quick meals. This floor leads to two decks: a covered area with a six-foot cedar swing, dining table and chairs; the other with chaise lounges and a gas grill.. Bird feeders attract many colorful birds and hummingbirds, which provide hours of entertainment.
The basement level has an additional bedroom, bath, living area and basement area with full-sized washer/dryer and ping pong table. There is a large deck with a five-foot wing.
Each level has a television with Hulu, tiled showers, high Kohler toilets, double vanities and plenty of closet space. Ceiling fans in each room add to the comfort, as does the zoned HVAC system.
The view of the lake and mountains from both of the decks is beautiful, as are the views from the upper and lower levels. Our home is located in Bear Paw, which is the only development on gorgeous Lake Hiwassee in the mountains of southwestern North Carolina. Lake Hiwassee is only five to ten minutes walking distance from our home. Lake Hiwassee is an 18-mile long mountain lake that offers casual fishing, boating, and swimming. There is also a shared swimming pool (usually open from Memorial Day through Labor Day), a marina that rents boats, a tennis court, a basketball court, a child's playground, and a child's fishing pond. A secured entrance gate adds to the feeling of peace and serenity pervading Bear Paw.
Unforeseen circumstances happen, so we strongly advise you to purchase trip insurance in case you have flight problems, sickness, or other circumstances. PLEASE NO SMOKING INSIDE THE HOUSE AND NO PETS ARE ALLOWED!!!!! CHECK-IN: 4PM OR LATER CHECK-OUT: BY 10AM

This was, by far, my favorite rental to date! The view is absolutely breathtaking, pictures don’t do it justice. The house had every little thing you could need to truly feel like you were home. The owners were very nice and quick to answer any questions.

If you’re looking for a house in Bear Paw with a flat, easy driveway and no stairs to get inside, this is the one! We stayed for a week and couldn’t have been happier. The house was spotless, with beautifully updated bathrooms and kitchen. The fridge was the perfect size for all our groceries for the week, and we had plenty of space to spread out across all three floors—it never felt cramped, even with the whole family.My personal favorite part was enjoying coffee on the porch each morning, watching the birds and taking in the peaceful view of the lake. We’ll absolutely be back!

This place is amazing! The views are out of this world and the house is so spacious. We had no problems and when I asked any question it was answered right away. I was very impressed with this house and the price was extremely affordable.
