Immaculate condo. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, appliances and utensils. Beautiful view from the balcony. Felt safe. Quiet location away from the crowds-at least in October. Only drawback was that the sofa bed was not comfortable. Springs went right into your back.

Perfect condo with everything we needed! Beautiful views, easy access checking in. The bed was comfortable but the couch was a bit small for us. Not the most comfortable, other than that it was perfect!

To begin with, there was no water the first night we arrived. We were notified on our way to the condo. I checked about flushing toilets etc. and was told the water would not be off all night, just repairs would last until the next day. With this information, we arrived with no water. We could not even brush our teeth, let along flush the toilet or cook a meal. We were lucky enough to find a hotel and Southern Vacation Rentals did reimburse us for the hotel, after some negotiations (they only wanted to reimburse us for half the cost of one night in the condo).
I have rented with Southern Vacation Rentals in the past, but do not understand why they have listing on VRBO. They are always a little less than, small things, leaky faucet in kitchen, shower door falling off, ice maker didn't work, sticky floors and counter tops, crumbs etc. in drawers, nasty carpet; in general the condo needed a thorough cleaning and some minor repairs. It didn't ruin our trip but at the price we paid it was a little aggravating. The location is perfect. The condo management was kind and understanding about the water frustration. Building is well maintained with plenty of parking. I just know now that I will definitely avoid Southern Vacation Rentals. I have found that rentals truly managed and maintained by owners are far superior.
