A quaint home with an incredible uninterrupted panoramic view of Grand Marais Harbor has all the amenities that make for a relaxing, carefree vacation. Amenities include large enclosed porch, large deck, propane fireplace, large kitchen with all the necessities for eating in, wireless internet access, Smart TV with Hulu. The enclosed sleeping porch for summer includes a queen futon and two twin daybeds. Imagine listening to the waves as you sleep on the porch. Lower level (basement) includes sleeping area/rec. room, bathroom and laundry access. Lower level is not handicap accessible.
Stones Throw is situated conveniently in downtown Grand Marais. Restaurants, coffee shops, the beach, hiking, and shopping are all within walking distance. Attractions such as the North House Folk School and the Art Colony are just a few blocks away.

What a great home! Perfect location, and well appointed with everything we needed and then some. Roomy, and the sleeping porch was a wonderful plus. We will be back on our next trip up the north shore!

This is a charming place with a great kitchen and baths. The bedrooms are nice with great linens and cozy decor. There is a true cottage feel to the place. We loved the view of Lake Superior and the location was perfect. We walked to shops and restaurants. We also enoyed the walking path across the street.

The view was amazing. The place was warm and cozy with a fireplace. It was perfect for our intended weekend. Unfortunately, there was a water issue in the bathroom that upset the weekend as water poured nonstop until water was shut off making the stay end abruptly. We had to move houses with a half a load of laundry in the works! Luckily the local manager helped usmove into a brand new rental & location. However, it just wasn’t the same as the intended weekend so close to town.It was also negative double digits and was really disruptive. We are awaiting a reasonable refund from the property owner as the manager did all they could and more! We sure loved the local manager who was so accommodating!!
