Gulf Highlands is a family friendly gated community with security. The complex has 11 pools(4 heated and 1 beach side),tennis courts, shuffleboard and mini golf(directly across from unit).
No smoking or pets allowed inside unit.
The unit downstairs includes a living room with sleeper sofa, dinning room, half bath, laundry room, and a fully equipped kitchen. The outside patio faces a the canal has 6 chairs with a fire pit table, and a grill. The setting on the canal allows for nice quite mornings and evenings with out the beach crowd. 18 holes of putt-putt and 2 swimming pools are located just steps away from the front door.
Up stairs includes a two full baths and two bedrooms with king beds, one with a private balcony overlooking the canal. Unit also includes WIFI, cable, washer and dryer.
Park directly in front of your unit, no parking garages or slow elevators to contend with! Beach is just a short walk away.

The host/owner was great and very kind! The location was great and once we figured out how to get to the ocean and rented a golf cart it was great also! Several pools around the resort to swim in that was great as well, however they weren’t the cleanest. The kids got grosses out after a wad of hair was in the pool and touched them. Wish there was a net to clean the pools ourself. The condo was enough room for my family and niece however the cleaners are not good at all in my opinion. The floors were nasty 1yr olds feet were BLACK within minutes of walking around when we got there. Each dish we got out to use had to be washed first due to being nasty. Had to stay washing rags and towels due to only having 6 rags and 4 towels for our family of 6. Had to buy trash bags due to only having 1 extra after taking the first one out. (That was a first to have to buy on a vacation). The master bedrooms bed had what felt like sand all in it before we had even went out to the beach or anything. But I know this is all on the cleaners. The owner may not be aware of this but he was very nice and responds quickly.
