About this cottage rental
The Elmwood is situated on a private road on the East side of Keuka Lake 4 miles south from the Village of Penn Yan. The home is furnished with both new items and antiques which give it the Keuka charm.
The three-quarter acre lot is on level land with a large private yard perfect for family entertaining, playing bocci, ladder-ball, kan jam, or relaxing on the beach with your favorite book. Beautiful Oak, Maple, and Willow trees provide plenty of shade when needed.
You will enjoy swimming and sunbathing on the 100+ feet of private beach and walk-in lake frontage. The 45 foot dock has a 8 x16 foot attachment with cushioned outdoor furniture including a table with umbrella, great for swimming, sunbathing, fishing, and watching the lovely evening sunsets. A grill and picnic tables for outdoor cooking are provided. A boat hoist is also available for your use. Gather around the fire pit located on the beach for bonfires, smores and a star filled sky.
The kitchen is fully equipped with service for 12 and all cooking utensils. The dining room seats 10 comfortably and the newly renovated screened in porch off the dining room has table and chairs for additional seating. Walk through the French doors into the newly furnished living room which has a large screen tv and plenty of seating. All rooms have windows with fantastic views of the lake and allow for a wonderful lake breeze.
There are five bedrooms on the second floor each with dresser(s) and/or closet space. Bedroom 1- (1) Queen Bed, Bedroom 2- (1) Double Bed, Bedroom 3- (2) Twin Beds, Bedroom 4- (1) Double Bed, Bedroom 5- (2) Twin Beds. All have window views of the lake.

Kitchen setup was excellent. Lots of comfortable space to sit and view the beautiful lake. We still managed to swim every day in the cold water. So refreshing.

The kitchen was amazing. The property was amazing. Very clean and neat. Decorated so nicely. The view was phenomenal. I just wish we had known they used laundry soap and fabric soften that wasn't skin and allergy friendly. That wasn't good for my one sister and I as we both have super sensitive skin and ended up with rashes. And the scent was horrible for our allergies. And the beds could have been a bit on the softer side, but all in all, it is an amazing place. We hope to be able to come back again.

Elmwood is pleasant inside and magnificent outside. We liked the cozy feeling of the interior and especially enjoyed the sun room and the well equipped kitchen. The expansive yard, shade providing trees, picnic tables and chairs and dock area are wonderful.Warren and Katherine were quick to answer questions and situations that occurred during our visit. Thank you for that!

The cottage is very old-school Keuka- plenty of rustic charm but no insulation on a chilly fall weekend. Nevertheless, the lot is spectacular- grassy area for the grandkids to play, tons of level beach, the best view on the lake, and good fishing too! The owners Kathleen and Warren could not have been sweeter.
