About this apartment rental
Welcome to “Sandcastle”-which is nestled in a quaint family community in walking distance to the Gulf of Mexico. Just a long block walk from us sits the public beach access to a 2.4-acre public acre beach with all the space for you to sit and enjoy the Gulf of Mexico, and your kids to play white powdery sand. If you don't want to walk, we provide you a shuttle during the busy season (March - Sept). There is also a boardwalk out in front of the complex that will take you right to the Gulf. If you turn Right and go about 250 feet (just past the first 4 white houses), you'll find more places that you can sit and enjoy the beach. Beachside Villas, located in Seagrove Beach, which is about 1/2 way between Seaside and Rosemary Beach. Walton Dines beach access is also available if you choose. Here you can rent chairs and umbrellas right on the beach.
When you enter our unit, you'll feel right at home in this completely remodeled condo, with all the beach amenities (beach umbrellas, beach chairs and toys which are provided for you to use).
Our unit is in BUILDING 3. the spacious floor plan is on the 2nd floor of a three-story building, where you'll enjoy great ocean and sunset views. There is NO ELEVATOR! Sleeps 8 comfortably... but with the pull-out sofa it can sleep two more.
Perfect set up for two small families. Our unit has a master suite complete with a king-size bed, private ensuite bathroom (walk in shower) cable/TV, and access to the large, covered porch. There is an additional full bath and 1/2 bath. Two more bedrooms, one with two queen-size beds (w/TV) and the other with two twin beds (w/TV). All linens are provided. The family room has a queen-size sofa sleeper, 50" Smart . The dining room seats eight and the adjacent kitchen has three bar stools and is fully stocked with all of your cooking needs and a Keurig coffee maker. The unit also has a full-size washer and dryer.
Beachside Villas complex is a family-oriented community, with two pools (one heated for winter use), lighted tennis/pickle ball courts (don't forget to bring your own rackets and balls!!). There is also a biking/hiking path on adjacent Highway 30-A. Beach chairs and umbrellas may be available for rental at the beach during the off season. Beachside Villas is located between Destin and Panama City Beach in a very quiet area. Seaside, Watercolor, Alys and Rosemary beaches are a short 5-15 minutes' drive and all have lots of small, quaint shops and restaurants.
Stay with us and you'll experience the natural beauty of Florida's Emerald Coast, where the white sand is like sugar and the Gulf waters are aquarium clear and emerald-green.

Condo was very clean. It also was well documented. The shuttle to the beach was the ticket. It was close to everything and we had a blast. Brian’s was very easy to speak with and ask questions. We will be back.

We had such a wonderful time! The property was exactly as described—clean, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The location was ideal—close to the beach, great restaurants, and fun activities, but still peaceful and quiet in the evenings.The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home that made it feel welcoming from the moment we arrived.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free Florida getaway!

The apartment was very well appointed. There was 7 of us, but living room only seated 5, will keep that in mind when looking for a rental. Beds comfortable, but walls extremely thin. Not condo specs. Neighbors woke us up quite a bit at all hours. Running and jumping constantly, waking us up at 3, 4 and 5am on different days. Not the rental company's fault, but expected a more peaceful stay. Needed a Keurig, had to use a Mr. Coffee with the words worn off leading us to guess which one was "Brew". I know, first world problems- lol, but disappointing nonetheless...like I'm paying for this..? Plastic wristbands given to us to wear were dirty. We were grossed out so we just brought them along. $10 if you lose 1 &Nobody was wearing them on the beach. Patio furniture is worn/dirty and chairs/umbrellas available to use on the beach had seen better days. Usually we spend lots of time on balconies with coffee in the mornings, but the view wasn't appealing...a parking lot with a thin view of water in the distance. First day, we were told to stay within a 35 foot area in front of property or be driven by a golf cart to public beach. We ended up setting up in the front row everyday in front of an adjacent property being built, 4 rentals down. Beach service guys catering to newer townhomes said they didn't have the authority over that area since property was still being built. Maybe this is written in the description and I just overlooked it, but I thought the area in front of Beachside Villas was the beach we could use. Sadly it's like a sliver of beach for our use. Several other renters expressed the same sentiment. Lake is not appealing and grilling in the middle of parking lot next to the mailboxes was an experience. The rental company and gentleman I dealt with early on were very nice and accommodating. We've stayed all along Destin to 30A for over 15 years and we will just look for something different next time. Location is great though, right between Seaside and Rosemary.
