We always enjoy our stay at this location. I would recommend improving the landscape in the front (appears unkept, overgrown, all around a mess). Large bush by the front door makes staying on the walkway difficult. Grass/weeds in side yard grow fast. Needs to be mowed weekly and not biweekly. I would also recommend blinds be added on bathroom window. Strainers in kitchen sink would be nice.

It is a wonderful place to relax. We love being able to walk the beach, ride the trails and explore the shops/museums. We will be back next winter! The Jekyll Island Real Estate staff are extremely helpful, friendly and easy to work with. The island is well maintained and is very clean! An extraordinary vacation all the way around.

Each BR has a full BA,and an additional full BA! The den is nice tv/sleep area,opposite side of LR. I LOVED the roomy sunroom area & our cat spent at least 90% time there. Nice patio and yard. Mattresses were fine and the heat worked great. Cat friendly unit, which is hard to find. I truly appreciate that! We had plentiful hot water. Appliances worked well, tons of kitchen items. The owner provided plentiful linens,and though we brought our own sheets and towels anyways, we did use a couple towels to lay over the sofas for our pet. The duplex was surface clean, but needs a deep clean. While water was hot and plentiful, it seemed to be unfiltered so it was not pleasant to taste or smell. We just used bottled water except for our showers and that worked ok. We did hear our duplex unit neighbors voices from time to time, when we were in LR. They were not at all disruptive, at any time. Maybe the wall is a bit thin? Jekyll Realty was great to work with. We made no complaints regarding cleanliness, water quality or occasional noise because it was not that bothersome. But I want to give an accurate, complete review. We have had only good interaction with Jekyll Realty. We will return soon.
