If you love the idea of being close to the beach in a stand-alone vacation home with its own covered lanai with swimming pool, you’re the ideal guest to stay at Avery’s Beach Bungalow. Bring your pets – they’re as welcome as your human family members!
Avery’s Beach Bungalow is a two-bedroom / two-bathroom, an air-conditioned home that sleeps seven when the queen-sized and twin-sized sleeper sofas are called into use. Walk in the front door to enter a truly open concept main living area with vaulted ceiling and pleasant coral and green décor. The living area features a large flat-screen HDTV with DVD player. There’s also free Internet in the home, making it easy for you to make dinner reservations, arrange tee times and share vacation photos with friends back home. The sliding glass doors in the living room open directly into the covered lanai with solar heated swimming pool. Jump in and swim some laps or enjoy an evening cocktail at the poolside table close by. The entire area is completely secluded so your group of friends and family can enjoy themselves in privacy.
Beyond the living room and completely open to it is the dining room and kitchen area. The kitchen has extensive cabinets and a full complement of all the appliances you’ll need to prepare snacks or full-course meals for your family. Throughout the living room and kitchen area, you’ll find cool, comfortable tiles that feel so good on feet weary from walking on the warm sandy beaches of St. Augustine Beach.
The master bedroom includes a king-sized bed that will feel like a million bucks after your day of golfing, beachcombing or fishing in the beautiful area in and around St. Augustine Beach. There’s also a flat-screen TV and sliding glass door that leads directly to the lanai and swimming pool from the master bedroom. Slip out and take a late night swim under the stars. It’s a great way to relax your muscles so you’ll sleep like a baby.

There were quite a few things that did not work...light in pool, light in microwave, no hdmi cable and the dvd player did not work, door hard to open and close, screen doors around pool did not lock, outside shower did not work and shower curtain rod in master bathroom needs to be replaced. For rental amount of almost $2,000 per week would think some of these things could/should be fixed.

This home was perfect for us. Very roomy and clean. Just a block from sandy path leading to beach with boardwalk. Beautiful beach. Washer and dryer in garage. Wasn’t able to use back yard for our small dog - too overgrown - but she enjoyed the walks around neighborhood and down to water.

This is by far the best experience I have had with the property. I emailed the owner directly and they were also fantastic. The only complaint I have is that the property management company was not easy to deal with. They never called me back once I booked the property, gave us the wrong code and the garage door didn't work. Otherwise the stay was well beyond my expectatations. Including all the kitchen utensils.

We normally travel to the golf coast side but planned this trip around a concert being held at the St Augustine amphitheater. We were pleasantly surprised of the cleanliness and low key environment. The beach was breathtaking and can understand why the locals asked us to keep it to ourselves how wonderful St. Augustine is. (they would like to keep it this way) Avery’s beach Bungalow was a quaint place not located far from the beach. A beautiful shaded path walk through the natural brush on out to the beach only a block from the house. We are now planning a trip back mid-July bringing the whole family. We enjoyed our trip very much!
