My husband and I rented for the months of March and April, 2016. Everything was delightful - quiet, clean, neat, attractive, everything at your fingertips, very well equipped condo. The Plantations is lovely, the clubhouse, dining, golf and tennis amenities are excellent. Besides the club pool there is a lovely pool right next to the condo building, beautifully landscaped as well. The owners, Mike and Nancy are very nice and very friendly, and responsive to any questions or needs you may have. We will be renting again. Our favorite beach is Nokomis beach which is about a 15 minute drive. There are other beaches in the area as well. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Downtown village in Venice is very nice - lots of shops and restaurants - near Venice beach. Close enough to downtown Sarasota to make a trip - about 35 minutes.

Condo was spotless and as presented. We were there for the month of March 2015. The owner, Mike Gervase had everything organized beautifully for us. Mike was also most accommodating, helpful and a good communicator. This is a most enjoyable, quiet, secure complex with very easy and friendly people. We will be back. HEA, Ontario

We stayed here for 2 months July and August. It was me my daughter and 2 granddaughters ages 5 years old and 9 months old. The baby was able to crawl so we let her crawl on carpets because they were so clean. The place is spotless. The furniture and bedding is very comfortable. The owners Mike and Nancy were very helpful. All it took was a phone call away and they attended to every need we had. This place is home away from home. I would rent it again and again. Highly recommend it. It's close to all but you need a car..
