My family and I had a wonderful stay at The Summit. The cabin has a very relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed the game room, the hot tub and especially the views! If you are looking for a place to unwind and truly relax, this is the place for you. I definitely would stay here again.

The rental property was clean, with the exception of the gas grill. One of the bathrooms had a commode that ran continuously and our internet/tv connection was nonexistent. We reported both and while efforts were made to address the challenges, neither was successful. To be fair, the property manager offered a late checkout on our last day. We accepted it, but we went ahead and notified them that we would be departing per the original agreement.The two kitchens were nice. It would have been better had the main dining table had seating for ten adults.The ten of us seventy somethings were able to navigate the three floors without too much difficulty. The game room/second kitchen was nice. We enjoyed multiple common areas which included two decks.The five bedrooms/four bathrooms were comfortable, although a couple of the beds were a bit high.They aren’t kidding when they mention the steep driveway with parking at the top of it. Three couples had Full-sized trucks and two couples had minivans. The trucks fared better.The ten of us came to agree by Wednesday that we would put down a deposit for next year’s cousins reunion and did so.Six days after returning home, I received a call from the property manager that the housecleaning crew reported some “chargers” missing from the main dining room. I assured them they didn’t leave with any of us and asked that they have the cleaning crew check again. After all, it’s a huge house. Anyway, we paid them 10.

When we checked in at 415 the heat was not on it was 32 degrees outside and the same inside. Turned on heat but house never warmed above 41 degrees called office and the told us where to get firewood for fireplace and to set thermostat at 2degree incriminate to get house warmer. Never happened we slept in 2 layers and pulled out every blanket we could find. Next day maintenence guy came and told company it was too cold on house for us to stay. They put us in another house for 2.5 hours which was warm and cozy, but owners would be back the next day christmas day to use their home for holidays. We were told they had no other place to put us and that we would have to move back to summit where heat was still not working. We traveled with 6 kids and the kids rooms were in the basement which never got above 30 degrees. Not acceptable. We list our Christmas eve driving back to Florida and our family from Texas followed us to Florida also so our time together was not a total waste. Still have not been notified of our complete refund. Noone returns calls.will be getting our lawyer involved after new years. Owners should find a new property management company as cabin rentals of Helen are not working in their best interests.
