Our family loved Fairwinds. It was a little more old-school than what we usually prefer, but it ended up being super cozy and comfortable. The proximity to the beach and the Jekyll Island resort was great. We loved riding bikes to both sides of the island from the house.

Master Bed... too soft and sinks in the middle
Only problem...and don't know the cause... in the bedrooms there are perforated ceiling tiles, which may be the cause... A distinct smell of attic insulation ( I work in a lot of attics). This odor intensified when the AC was off and the ceiling fans were blowing down....almost as if attic air was being pulled down thru the perforated ceiling tiles.
Overall this property is Excellent, but I could not recommend it, due to the infiltration of attic air in the bedrooms.
