Reviewer Comments: We would first like to thank the gracious Homeowners and everyone at Gold Coast For allowing us to stay in this beautiful two story home on Silver Strand in Oxnard. We were celebrating our Silver Anniversary and the first home we booked was undergoing repairs and when I saw this home became available...we booked it immediately! What a great and happy opportunity to stay here at Local's Choice! The home is lovingly taken care of with everything that you need for an amazing oceanfront vacation. From beautiful linens, artwork (one looked like a Chagall but wasn't, yet still so lovely) and other pieces had a direct connection to the area and comfortable furniture, and well-stocked kitchens, yes there are two, filled with utencils and bathrooms that are spotless and again, more towels than you may need and shampoo and soap provided....cable TV and an upper deck to view the sea life durring the day and the shooting stars in the sky at night, this home is a true gem! Not to mention every morning between 9:00 am to 10:30 am we watched the dolphins in pods come by to eat and and seals swim by, too. The environment here must be healthy that so many diffent species of wildlife mingled with the surfers. We took lots of photos from the upper deck balcony and on the lower deck, there is a little gate that you can privately access the beach and step out into the sand and find seashells and walk to the water. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt very inviting and comfortable. We would love to stay here again in the future because it truly felt to us, like a very loving home. This beach front property has a great porch to view the beautiful Silver Strand. Dolphins gave us a great show. Most of the beds were comfy, but the furniture needs a good cleaning. This property is in need of some tender loving care and a deep clean. Grab Bars in the showers would be helpful. We felt that the rental cost was a bit over priced for the quality of the rental, compared to other properties where we have stayed on Silver Strand. The $499 to Remax that was not applied to the rental cost was not value added .All the bikes and toys were locked up, other places we have stayed offer the toys to the renters. We will probably not stay here again.
