Short walk to the bay and bike trails

We all had a great time! The house was perfect for our stay and very well taken care of and everything we needed was there. I couldn't have found a better location. It was such a short walk to the bay beach and another short walk to Cox Hall (both were our dog's favorite to explore). Everything else was just a short drive away. The side deck was amazing- we spent every second at the house sitting out there. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again.

The property was excellent inside and out. The owners supplied many outdoor games including Cornhole. And plenty of board games. Their tape and CD' collection was enormous. Lisa and John were available when needed. And the beach was just 2-3 blocks away. An easy walk.

Overall great place. Could use some updating in bathrooms and appliances. Love the side porch.

House is basic and cozy. Simple for a nice get away. Good space, nice yard, light and airy. 20mins away from everything Cape May and wildwood which was great. Homeowners seemed awesome until. Communication was fine. I would email, they would reply within an hour or so and was always helpful. Everything was fine til check out. We cleaned the house as directed and any questions we had about trash or other house rules we emailed and received a timely response (the house rules are very outdated so we had to confirm something). No issues til check out and the cleaning lady. The cleaning lady arrived as we were washing the last few pots. I explained to her what we used in the kitchen and washed, what we washed concerning the beds (2 twin pillow top mattress covers that we used our own linen on top of anyway but washed cause it was the kids room and kids can be yucky). We have water balloons but couldn't find a shovel so we raked up the balloon scraps so they were in 3 small piles to pick up. I don't know what photos this lady took. Pots we never used she alleged we made dirty and "disgusting". We purchased pans to bake in, we used paper plates. We did use their glasses, a big pot, and cutlery. We replaced toilet paper in one bathroom, swept under beds and couches, and everything else we were supposed to do. The owners suddenly are disappointed in the "disgusting" state we left the property. I have used VRBO since homeway over 10 years and NEVER had a complaint about cleaning. They owners said we left stains on the walls. The cleaner was upset that their was crumbs in the couch. We didn't stain anything and if they want, it is VERY likely that my SEVEN year old left crumbs in the couch especially after telling them to sit there when we were fixing things up. I use VRBO literally 4 times a year. I have never had a homeowner tell me I was dirty. I told the cleaner everything we did and how we left it and she said it was fine. She never once said anything when we asked her if she wanted anything from us / anything to do before we left. She alledgedly took photos of walls and pots and labeled it as us doing it I would have had glowing things to say about this house but I don't do well being lied on about being clean ESPECIALLY when the cleaning lady was there and when I gave her the checklist of what we did do and when SHE saw my husband cleaning and told him NO RUSH, she could have said something. The cleaner should have been disgusted then
