About this house rental
Our neighborhood is a wonderful blend of casual Southern California beach living with a vibrant art/music influence.
Great restaurants, breweries, wine bars and local hot spots attract the young and the young-at-heart!
We have farmers markets, museums, biking, hiking, water sports and more! Steve and I love to travel but we still find that our little "jewel" known as Oceanside is the place we love coming home to! We think you will, too!

Our train station is just 1.5 miles from our home, and gives you the ability to travel up or down the coast to enjoy everything from Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo to San Diego's Gaslamp District, Petco Park and Downtown San Diego.
Going north you can take it right into the village of San Juan Capistrano for a day trip to the Mission, shopping and restaurants. Traveling farther north, you can train to Disneyland, LA and up the coast to Santa Barbara.
You will see from the pictures that our home has a spacious kitchen, living room, dining room, family room and one bedroom downstairs.
Upstairs includes a very large master suite and two additional bedrooms, office area and another full bath.
Our backyard is perfect for entertaining or simply relaxing.

We have a grill, refrigerator and ample seating for outdoor dining.
If you like natural sun-light, you will love this home! With a full southern exposure and windows everywhere, you will enjoy the great views and light & bright atmosphere.

Location is awesome! A few minutes away by car to Oceanside beach and pier. My teenage kids rented body boards to enjoy the waves. The house is in a more secluded area and the backyard has a lot of privacy . Walmart, CVS, Dunkin Donuts, are all within 5 minutes drive. The house itself is very spacious , with 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Also Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Monica are all easy distance for day trips. Marijane was super easy to get ahold of and very responsive.

Just a thank you to Marijane and Steve, for accommodating my family and I, for this visit (even considering a last minute adjustment we had to make). A wonderful home, located close to everything.......beach , freeways, stores, restaurants, Camp Pendleton, and San Diego. The interesting thing is you are close to all of these amenities, however, when you are at the house, up in the hills, you are detatched (quiet and peaceful). Nice backyard with grill and firepit....wonderful view. Lots of space inside and out. Thanks again!

This was the perfect home for our stay in Oceanside. We were in town for a soccer tournament and shared the home with another family. The house has a beautiful outdoor patio in a quiet neighborhood. The location was ideal as we were only fifteen minutes from the fields and only a mile from the beach with easy access to the highway to get to anywhere we wanted to go. The house is very comfortable with a beautiful master bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The owners were easy to communicate with and very accommodating to our schedule. Would highly recommend this property.
