This unique 3 bedroom 2 bath unit is nestled atop the Merrimac Condominium located on the 80th street beach block in Avalon NJ. This well maintained building is located across the street from the Stone Harbor recreational area. This area has a baseball/softball field, soccer fields, Tennis & Pickle Ball courts, basketball courts, and more. The recreational area is also home to a wonderful children's playground complete with swings, a large climb & slide jungle gym.
The Merrimac shares a block with the very popular Windrift restaurant/hotel. Connected to the 79th/80th street beach block you will find a total of 5 restaurants and 3 bars/lounges. If you venture a block further, you will find more restaurants, take-out seafood, a pizza shop and a market.
This location is within walking distance of Stone Harbor's quaint and charming 96th Street (Main Street) with numerous restaurants, shops, famous ice cream establishments and kids’ activities such as roof top mini golf, Movie Theater, etc.
Did we mention location? Walk half a block from the condominium (crossing no streets) to the private, wide, beautiful, clean beach where you can enjoy the sand and surf. Ice cream vendors push carts along the shoreline, so you can enjoy a cold treat and an ice cold bottle of water without leaving your beach chair. When you are finished in the sand, come back to the Merrimac for a relaxing dip in the heated pool. If you are not a fan of the beach, spend your whole day at the pool, the choice is yours!

This was our first time renting this unit and couldn't have been happier. The owner was very helpful and available via text 24/7. This unit is the nicest unit in the complex (and has the BEST view of the ocean)! The unit has been completely remodeled and is very clean. I can't say enough good things about our experience. I typically don't write reviews but felt I needed to since our experience was so wonderful!!!

This condominium was more than perfect for my family (2 adults, 4 kids under 14 years). Everything is so clean and new within the unit. The views of the ocean are just great. The location was so nice, we just love Avalon and Stone Harbor. There were no misrepresentations in the listing versus what we experienced when we stayed there, in fact the listing understates the property itself. We resigned immediately to reserve the same week this coming summer and are counting the days until we return. Thanks so much to the owner who offered so much communication and was so accommodating through the entire process. My Husband and kids love this place, so do I!

this is the ONLY 3 bedroom unit (sleeps 10) that is available for rent in the Merrymackthe location is perfect beachblock, each window has a direct view of the ocean, baseball.soccer, basketball, skateboard park, all across the street. Great food at the Windrift (next door, beach front). Heated pool , 2 parking spots
