Great location for anyone having an event at Texas old Town.

We had a wonderful stay at the estate! Close to town, but very secluded. Backs to woods where we saw a family of deer while sitting by the pool! Thanks for everything, Roy!

I never follow up with a review on our VRBO rentals because all of them have been pleasant. This property was far from it. The property was covered with wasp nests and we were stung. There were alive and dead roaches and ants in the house. Hot water and water pressure in most bathrooms very low. Refrigerator alternated between freezing our food or being at room temperature. Front door would not lock from the outside although owner insisted it did. This property needs a lot of work as kitchen cabinet doors were hanging by one hinge, the door knob kept falling off the powder room door, and we had to tighten the toliet seat to use it.

This home is absolutely beautiful! I wish we had one more day to enjoy the house! This home is definitely a favorite 😍

Plenty of room, everyone could go do their thing and not be underfoot. There was a glitch with the refrigerator, apparently the thermostat was going out, and we had to throw some food away that had frozen, but the owner was very gracious and came over immediately to try to adjust it. He was a champ. There were some things that surprised me, that would be helpful to list as recommendations to future guests. There was no icemachine so I had to go pick up bags of ice, no hair dryers and with teenage girls this was catastrophic. Call me old fashion, but I expect soap in the bathtubs/showers. There were pump soaps at the sinks. If this had been listed, I would have known to bring my own soap. No washcloths, but we had plenty of towels. Overall, it was a great place for a family vacation.

The location was perfect, and our group enjoyed the pool. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful.

This house was so much fun for us to stay at. The kitchen is more than fully stocked. The pool was amazing, the outdoor atmosphere was amazing! Definitely watch your step, there are many stairs. I took a tumble down one set of stairs because I wasn’t paying attention. So definitely be mindful. Otherwise, this place was so much fun and so incredibly relaxing. I wish we could have stayed longer, alas, we had to return to the harsh realities of life.

Myself and 4 friends had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful home for a wine country weekend getaway. It was absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures. We were completely happy with our stay. Thank you so much!

We enjoyed our time in the beautiful estate property. Plenty of entertainment spaces. Our boys really enjoyed the pool and creek.

Overall stay was good! There were a few hiccups upon arrival, (there's a lot of greenery, so patio furniture & pool had to be cleaned up a bit) but they were taken care very quickly - the owners were super responsive & very accommodating, which made our stay even better.

The outdoor seat were dusty and with "stuff' dropping from the trellis. It was also sad that we could not let the kids run around on the grounds since the yard was littered . Overall a very beautiful home that could be even better if the outdoors were spruced up and made kid friendly/safe

We were so tired of being at home during quarantine, so getting away to a beautiful and luxuriously appointed house nearby was the perfect answer. Plenty of space to gather AND get alone time.

I will start this review on how my check in with the host began. He called me a LIAR! And, demanded to know how many people were in his house!! No hello or anything. I must explain, I have never rented nor stayed at a rental home before. The home stated is sleeps 8, and at the time we only had a total of 4 staying with us. Well, as I checked in the house, I had 7 people including myself. I began sanitizing the high frequency areas such as counters, chairs, door handles/knobs, etc...There were ants on the kitchen counter. I tried calling and reaching out to host, phone service was spotty. Finally, on the way to store to get some insect control and food, the host calls back...and immediately states, “why did you lie”??? I am shocked and feeling some type of way now...then he proceeds to yell at me because I only had 4 people on the my search, which I did not know it was considered a contract. I did offer to have “this contract amendment” and pay an additional difference he was worried about. I am literally @ 2 hours from arriving at the house and now I want to leave. At this point, I can’t cook at the house because of ants, and he has also informed me there are surveillance cameras in the home, which is why he called me a liar! Let me state, this rental was not cheap!!! It was planned for a family getaway... So, now I have planned a day function at this home where I can’t invite my family or cook at the house. This would have been a wonderful weekend, instead I worried about if the host going to continue to make a fuss about #of people, which never exceeded 7 people sleeping there! And, my whole weekend cooking plans changed due to the ants in the kitchen! Only kitchen items I used was half the fridge and coffee Keurig. The house was nice, but the location and outdoor areas were amazing! Plenty of space...and the scenery was beautiful

My family had a wonderful time while staying at this property. We were in awe when we opened the door and entered the home. We spent most of our time enjoying the beautiful and peaceful outdoor areas. The owner had made sure that everything we could need was avaiable. My family made some great memories!

We had a great time! Roy was extremely responsive to any questions. There was plenty of room inside and several amazing living spaces outside.

All went very smoothly and the house is nicely set on a creek. Very nice ambience! Given proximity to water, mosquito repellent is a good idea.

There was plenty of space to spread out inside and outside the house. Each bedrooms was spacious to retreat into. The beautiful art pieces and sculptures were extra treats every where we looked. Staying at the Estate was the perfect long weekend escape for my family. Roy was quick to respond to any questions. Check in and check out were super easy.

The property was beautiful, well maintained and perfect to spend The weekend. The house is quiet and surrounded by trees, which provides great privacy. The outdoor area, including the pool (no hot tub) , outdoor sitting and barbecue grill were great. The house is a great house for a group with a fully equipped kitchen, large dinning and living areas and a media room.

My little family stayed here for 3 nights. Beautiful estate, well maintained. We saw deer, ring tail cat, tree frogs, raccoons, green lizards. Enjoyed the lovely pool. Everything you could possibly need is provided. Roy was a gracious host.

Overall the house worked out pretty good for us. There we’re a few issues however. The AC on the main level completely shut off the first night which caused some significant heat issues for those staying in the bedrooms on the main floor. There was also a really strong mothball smell when we arrived that we attempted to alleviate with deodorizers, flowers, etc. really weird... The last night there was a big storm which then caused a big leak in the living room. The outside areas and pool could have used some attention. Again, the location was perfect for us, about a mile from the wedding venue so we still did enjoy our stay.

Don’t think twice or explore any other options. “BOOK NOW” Everything in the house is included. Washer Washing machine dryer fridge freezer microwave utensils outdoor grill gas everything. Just take food and beer. Everything is on the property.

Enjoyed our stay. Never found hot tub but everything else was outstanding. Really beautiful place.

We had a lovely time relaxing at this beautiful location. We had 4 couples and plenty of bedrooms. The outside was lovely, enjoyed the pool and sitting on the patios listening to the crickets. So nice to be out of the city. We had everything we could think of! thanks again for letting us rent your house.

Great place to stay with family and friends. Plenty of space with several of outdoor seating areas. Elegantly decorated. Only 2 minor things, one of the downstairs bathrooms is very, very tiny like it was put into a closet. There are two steps into this bedroom before the door that could be a trip/fall hazard. Over all this is a wonderful home. We would definitely stay there again.

The Estate is perfect!!! The house decor is beautiful. We really enjoyed the gourmet kitchen with the industrial stove!!! We made a fantastic brunch!!! Myself and family was very impressed with the the outside patio, pool, and Grill area!!! We would definitely rent it again!!!

We stayed at Hill Country Estate for my sister's wedding. It was perfect for four couples. The house has large common space where everyone hung out with all of the amenities that you need. It was really clean, comfortable and minutes from the wedding venue. Roy was always friendly and prompt answering questions.

Would definitely stay here again. The owner was very nice. Backyard pool and patios are the perfect place to hangout and relax.
