About this house rental
Escape to Boot-sy Ranch, a private 21-acre retreat just south of Austin. This 4-bed, 2.5-bath luxury home comfortably fits 8 guests. This 21 acre property is yours to walk and enjoy the peace and quiet but quick and easy access to restaurants and shopping. Enjoy a gourmet kitchen, heated (optional) pool, and serene Hill Country seclusion. Perfect for families and groups seeking a unique blend of countryside charm and modern comfort, with easy access to Kyle, Austin, and Dripping Springs.
The pool is treated weekly on Tuesday mornings. The pool can be heated during the cooler months, if night time temperatures falls below 50 degrees it is cost prohibitive to heat. I take a $300-$500 (depending on length of stay and temperatures) deposit to be applied to propane usage. The propane gauge is read when the heater is turned on and again when it is turned off and calculate the cost of heating the pool. There is only one shower in the master and the other full bath has a beautiful 60” claw foot tub with handheld shower

I hesitate to leave this review because I don't want to compete for reservations for this wonderful gem! Very clean, beautiful home and all the "little touches" made it very comfortable. I also own a VRBO property and know how much things like adequate shower pressure, a well-stocked kitchen, a huge fridge, double ovens, lovely linens, specialty soaps, etc. can make ALL the difference. More than enough towels, comfortable beds and bedding. The pool was gorgeous and a welcome break from the hot sun. I peppered the hostess with questions prior to our arrival, and she was very prompt with her replies. We hosted our two adult children and several of their friends for dinner and we all had plenty of room to spread out, eat tons of BBQ, watch TV, and play games. Conveniently situated to all the Hill Country has to offer and a HUGE HEB grocery. We will definitely be back!

The home is very well appointed. Lots of supplies in the kitchen, coffee, creamer, PB&J in the cupboards. Pool is great. Rooms are spacious and nicely organized. Bathrooms are super clean and tidy. We (2 persons)only stayed one night but you could easily enjoy this property for several get-away days with either a family or a few couples. Went to Salt Lick BBQ for dinner or there is a roadhouse/bar just down the road
