La Casita at Casa El Bosque

My husband and I loved the location, privacy, and amenities of this property. We were a bit removed from the hustle-and-bustle of downtown Tamarindo, but it was just a short drive or an easy walk to get there. We felt safe there and the space was cute and spacious. The host was responsive, showing us around and giving us dinner recommendations when we arrived and then we didn't see her again for the rest of our trip. The shower inside had hot water, but it was so toasty outside that I ended up using the lovely and private outdoor shower for most of the trip! We would stay here again!

Everything about Casa El Bosque is perfect and just as described!!! It's a perfect little dream escape surrounded by nature. The actually space feels private and like you are tucked away in the tropical forest, surrounded by birds and nature. And just down the street from your space are all the shops and restaurants! There are a few markets and grocery stores about 5 minute walk either direction, a few delicious restaurants just down the street, and the beach and town with all the shops and restaurants is just a 15 minute walk!! We could not believe the amazing location of this space!! The host, Angel, is so wonderful, helpful and easy to communicate with. She was quick to address and take care of anything we needed. The pool and outdoor space is so perfect and quaint and romantic! The indoor space was just what we needed! It is functional, clean and perfect for relaxing or entertaining! The kitchen has everything you need to cook if you want, the sheets and bed are so cozy, we had some great sleeps! And the pool outside is gorgeous, perfect for sun bathing, reading in the shade and enjoying some drinks! We loved our stay here!! Thank you so much Angel for having us and for making our stay so memorable and perfect! You are a wonderful host and thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us!

La Casita at Casa El Bosque is a perfect place for 2! The location is great--5 minute walk to the beach and 10-minute walk to town. The house is spotless and has a great set-up. Spacious bathroom/bedroom, full kitchen, comfy loveseat/chairs. Great little private patio with outdoor shower and washer/dryer. Also a shared patio with the host family and adorable 3 dogs at times. :) Angel (host/owner) is awesome! She was so personable and always helpful answering our questions, etc. The hot water went out for a day or so (not a big deal at all with the warm weather there) and she immediately offered a refund until it was fixed or if we decided to leave. We stayed and it was fixed in no time --she still gave a refund for 2 nights. So very nice. We would've stayed anyway. We were so glad the place was on the same property as her home. We felt very safe. If we ever visit Tamarindo again, this is where we'll book for sure!! -Shelbie (& Brad)
