This incredible vantage point provides gorgeous panoramic views of the ocean, beaches, mountains, and neighboring islands. At this true ocean front unit, you will feel completely relaxed by the soothing sounds of the ocean and refreshed by the cooling trade winds that are a trademark of Kihei. In the morning, step onto the private lanai and enjoy breakfast while watching sea turtles grazing on the reef below. During whale season, be enthralled by the spectacle of Humpbacks breaching, fin slapping, and nurturing their calves just a short distance from shore. In the evening, be dazzled by a spectacular Maui sunset while barbecuing dinner on the rooftop garden. At night, experience the pleasure of being lulled to sleep in a comfortable bed by the soft sound of waves lapping at the shore below your window.
The Royal Mauian is Kihei's premier resort, superbly situated at the ocean's edge on a smooth promontory between the fabulous Kamaole I and Kamaole II beaches. A beautiful reef with many large sea turtles, perfect for family snorkeling, is situated directly in front of the building. Kamaole I and Kamaole II are long, sandy beaches that are great for swimming, body surfing, boogie boarding, sun bathing, or just taking a leisurely stroll. For your added comfort while at the beach, Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella are provided, as well as beach towels and a cooler.

I’ve been to Maui many times and this is the best condo I’ve stayed at. The view is amazing and I was able to see whales and turtles right from the lanai. Location is awesome and close to a lot of things. Many things were provided in the condo which helped with packing. I would love to come back!

The location put us right in the middle of two nice beaches so it was just a few minutes walk right to either beach. In the morning we viewed turtles feeding at the rocky shore in front of the condo building. We enjoyed the good cross ventilation and didn’t need to use the AC at all. The kitchen was very functional and had everything we needed, even multiple colanders which were used to rinse fresh fruit purchased upcountry at a Kula farm. One night we used a rooftop BBQ and I was amazed at how clean they were. We used the big beach towels and beach chairs from the lanai for watching sunsets on the beach. Our favorite area was the lanai and the table and chairs to whale watch. The furniture was very comfortable. We had great communication with the host prior to our stay and would definitely recommend this comfortable unit.

We appreciated:- All the household extras: toilet paper, nightlights. etc. - Well-appointed kitchen. It was a kitchen of a home vs rental.- Loved spending time on the lanai. Comfortable padded barstool height chairs and amazing sunset views. Perfect for a short woman to see over the railing with an uninterrupted view and perfect leg height for my tall husband. Loved spending the afternoons watching the turtles. Didn't see any whales; will have to bring my binoculars next time!- Prompt condo support. - Close to a clean beach.
