High Tide is a spacious 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath beach retreat designed for unforgettable Tybee Island vacations. Located just steps from the sand as the second home from the beach, this pet friendly getaway offers over 3,700 square feet of living space, a private heated pool and spa and multiple indoor and outdoor gathering areas perfect for large family vacations, group getaways and beach reunions. With two kitchens, two living rooms and a beautiful covered outdoor entertainment area, High Tide makes it easy for everyone to relax, reconnect and enjoy the best of coastal living.
The main level is located on the second floor and features a bright, open-concept layout with comfortable lounge seating, a large flat-screen TV and a dining area with seating for 11 guests. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing family meals and includes a double oven, stovetop, dishwasher, large refrigerator and an island with seating for four. Also on this floor are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary suite features a king bed, decorative fireplace, large flat-screen TV and a private en-suite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The first guest bedroom also offers a king bed and an attached half bathroom. An additional guest bathroom is conveniently located on this level. Step outside onto the second floor sundeck to enjoy lounge seating and a charcoal grill for evening cookouts after a day at the beach.
The first floor offers even more space to spread out with a second partially equipped kitchen featuring a refrigerator and dishwasher, a comfortable living area with a large flat-screen TV and three additional bedrooms with two bathrooms. The third guest bedroom includes two double beds, while the fourth guest bedroom features two twin beds. The fifth guest bedroom is furnished with a king bed, a twin daybed and a large-flat screen TV. An additional sleeping nook in the hallway includes built-in twin bunk beds, making this home ideal for larger groups and families traveling with kids. A full guest bathroom is located between the bunk area and the fourth guest bedroom. Guests can also enjoy direct access to the patio from the downstairs living area.
Spend your sunny Tybee Island days relaxing beside the private pool and attached spa. Under the home, guests can gather at the outdoor bar area, complete with a large TV for catching the big game or enjoying evenings together. Additional amenities at High Tide include complimentary wifi, a washer and dryer and an outdoor shower. Please note: the upstairs living room TV includes cable service. All other TVs allow guests to log in using their own personal streaming accounts.
Guests may choose to add optional pool heat for an additional fee of $35 per day (pool heat is unavailable in January and February). Parking is available for up to 4 vehicles. This home is pet-friendly.

The property was great for our extended family- 7 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. It was great to have such a large living area and a smaller one downstairs. The pool and outdoor bar were a hit. Very close to the beach!

The house is great with plenty of rooms, beds, and space for hanging out, but also enough areas for getting away for some quiet time, if needed. Pool was nice for a few people at a time, but a large group would be cramped for playing. V
Location was great for walking to the beach, or the shops or pier area if you like getting your steps in.
Not a clean as we would have preferred (hair in showers and sinks). The kitchen was stocked well enough for standard meals, and linens and basics were provided.
Response time was quick for property managers when we needed to contact them. We would stay here again. It's a great house for a large group. There were only 5 of us.

Comfortable and spacious with super cool outdoor space. Had a beer in the pool while watching NBA playoffs on the TV at the outdoor bar. That was pretty cushy. About a 20 minutes walk to the nightlight area, long but doable. We just rented bikes and explored that way. Just steps away from a beautiful beach with picturesque dunes. Huge rooms. Nice fixtures. Lots of space to congregate and socialize, indoors and out. Enjoyed our stay!

This property is perfectly located just one house away from the beach. It has ample room for a lot of guests and it was very clean on the inside. The day we arrived the pool had a lot of leaves and dirt in it, but the property manager responded the next day and was able to get it cleaned that afternoon. The layout downstairs is pretty funky but it works for housing a lot of people. The pool was added recently and there isn't direct access to the pool from the bottom floor but you can walk around the side of the property to get to it or off the second floor's balcony to get to it. They offered plenty of linens but they were thin and rough. There were no beach towels or any beach equipment. Also, there was not much for cleaning supplies or detergent so you will need to bring that yourself. Also the kitchen, while stocked with equipment has nothing in terms of necessities other than salt and pepper.
The misleading part of the listing is that it does not have a "hot tub" -- the pool can only be heated to the 80s and that's only how warm the "hot tub" area can get as well. The property managers claimed that it was a "spa" not a "hot tub" so that is why it wasn't able to get hot but that terminology is not an indicator of temperature differentiation anyway. They said they would remove the "hot tub" amenity off of VRBO and offered us $55 worth of gift cards to use at local restaurants.
This was a big bummer for us personally, because the only reason we splurged for this particular property (as group of 3 adults and one child that only needed two bedrooms) was for hot tub. We were there in mid march and knew it would too cool to enjoy the ocean, etc.
I think this property would be AMAZING in the summer time but don't book it for the hot tub!
