About this apartment rental
The only residential gated community right on the beach. Low density complex with lush tropical landscaping, pool, BBQ area and tennis courts. This unit has been remodeled to keep its character while offering the convenience of modern amenities. Its ground floor location makes it feel more like a home with its large deck overlooking the park. Views of the turquoise Caribbean sea from the open plan living room/dining room and the deck. Lots of windows and french doors, opening to balconies or deck, make it bright and attractive. Second separate entrance to master bedroom offers more flexibility.
Take your towel and walk just a few steps to the sugar white beach or sunbathe by the pool. You can enjoy hikes along the parks with Mayan ruins or play a game of tennis. Plenty of activities at your fingertips including sightseeing, Tulum, Chichen-Itza, Cozumel and so much more.
From the airport take the ADO bus to Playa del Carmen and walk to your vacation home from the bus station.

We had a great stay for our family of 4. The apartment is an ideal location - 5 min from the beach, 5 min walk to the main street in Playa and restaurants (far enough away to be quiet!) and in a gated community for peace of mind. It also had everything we needed - access to a pool, air conditioning, parking, purified water, ....

We enjoyed the location of this property. The beach was a very short walk, as were the shops and restaurants in Playa del Carmen. The security people at the complex were amazing. We never felt unsafe. The beach chairs, towels, and umbrella were very convenient and made our beach days perfect. The power went out for over 12 hours (no fault of property host), but it would have been nice to have a flashlight and candles available. Very quiet property in a great location. We would return again!

This place is amazing! A 5 minute walk to a nearby "mall" and just a few minutes more to 5th Avenue. A 4 minute walk to the beach. a 1 minute walk to a Mayan ruin. 20 minute walk to WalMart. Taxis just a few minutes away, too. Oh yeah, ferry is a 6 minute walk.Having two bathrooms was great, water delivered whenever you are out. The AC works when needed, otherwise fans keep the air moving around. Four beach chairs provided, I am never sitting on a towel on the beach again!Only thing to think about is the kitchen does not have any salt and pepper and things like that. But really not that big of a deal.Loved this property!

Our first rental experience was a great one. The house surrounded by lush gardens and the ruins was just the beginning. The Mexican style house with every convenience did not disappoint. We used the pool everyday, most times we had it to ourselves. A short walk to 5th Avenue was also welcomed as well as the beach. Lots of seaweed on the beach, could be seasonal. That’s the only negative of our wonderful stay at Casa Armonia.
