About this house rental
Magnificent setting! Right on Kachemak Bay, with stairs accessing the beach during Spring, Summer, and Fall. See our changes! We have added a 3rd bedroom to this lovely home. The Seafarers Beach House, a 1700 sq ft home, is artfully decorated with Seafaring themes. On the main floor, overlooking the Bay, is a fully appointed kitchen, cozy living room, complete with a large screen TV for enjoying the game, a full bathroom with laundry, and a bedroom with a King bed. A spacious deck, with lounge chairs and a BBQ grill, is accessed from the living room. For a small additional fee, a lovely cabin in the yard provides a getaway for 2 with a queen bed in the loft. Cabin guests share the downstairs bath in the main home. The Cabin is not available for independent rentals. On the 2nd floor, you will find two bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV, and a variety of books. The second bedroom has a King bed or can be converted to 2 extra-long twins. Both rooms have lovely views of the boats passing on the bay. Watch eagles soar by at window height. A truly special place.

The property is very clean and had everything we needed! The binoculars were a great touch! We can think of a better location…right on the water allowed us to see seals, bald eagles and other wildlife!

Wow!! Our stay at the Seafarers house was nothing short of AMAZING! The house is so clean and beautiful. We had the privilege of staying from June 12 to June 18. Three generations. Our children took the upstairs bedroom with the king size bed and their two children had the room next to them. The beds for the children were already separated into 2 twins. A beautiful bath upstairs. Us - the grandparents had the king size bedroom downstairs and another beautiful bath. The views were always wonderful - watching sea otters, birds and even some seals. We saw a moose up close driving down the street to the Seafarer. Everything we could imagine using in the kitchen was available. There is an amazing Butcher shop - Cole's market and Cole's meat market. Picked up ribeyes and beef tenderloin which were delicious. I have never experienced anything so neat as finding the gas grill was clean - and - the essentials for grilling were placed on the grill. The guys were so impressed, after dinner they cleaned the grill up in showing our appreciation. Some went on the nature tour with Tutka and said it was wonderful. The guys went on a charter and fished for halibut and salmon. We were never at a loss for something to do or see. We ate twice at the Boat Yard Cafe and both times were very delicious. Would love to come back someday and enjoy the Seafarer and Homer. Returned to Alabama and 100 degree heat wave...wish we had Alaska summer here.

Stunning views! This home was just spectacular, and I did not want to leave. Communication was excellent as well. Homer was everything I expected it to be and more. We will definitely be back in the future!Thank you!
