About this cabin rental
This professionally decorated Luxury Log Cabin sleeps up to 12. Prefect for all occasions Southern Comfort features 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. A large fully equipped kitchen with plenty of seating and gathering space. What a way to relax after a day in the park by watching a movie on your private 9 foot theater screen or by relaxing in your 101 degree hot tub. Play a game of pool or air hockey in the downstairs game room with jukebox or congregate on the middle level with family in the open kitchen dining and living room. There is a gas grill on the back deck to fire up some steaks! Free Wireless internet is standard with all our cabins!

Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin.
We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

We loved the cabin! The only recommendations are that the kitchen needs more supplies for cooking/eating and the water temp and pressure in the top floor bathroom needs to be improved. We struggled with getting the shower water warm enough and the low water pressure made it a little tougher to wash our hair.

The place was very clean and comfortable. Loved the gas grill on the back porch and the kids loved the hot tub. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were great. Kids loved playing with the air hockey table and also the pool table

Elk Resort staff very responsive with ongoing texts with reminders and directions. The cabin was beautiful and in a nice location. Spacious and enjoyable for the family! Will definitely be back!

I would say the pros of the cabin was the location. Everything is about 15-20 min drive which isn't terrible. The cabin was pretty clean minus some of the dishes that had to be rewashed. I will say although I did enjoy my stay here there were some minor things that bugged me. like I mentioned the dishes had to be rewashed before using. The cabin was highly outdated compared to some other ones I have stayed in. An example of this are the TV's. No smart TV's in any of the rooms. The "theater area was also outdated and when I called customer service they tried to help but it wasn't much help so we were unable to use it (It could be due to user error but still customer service was not the best). Overall I would say our stay here was 7 out of 10. I would probably not stay here again and I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here who is looking for updated amenities.
