Not your typical canal house, there is plenty of privacy here. You'll be in your own secluded, retreat. Your own private heated pool, 130 ft. concrete dock, a 400 lb. Ice Machine Plus a beautiful private HOT water outdoor shower,
Foosball Table, and views! You're not looking at the neighbors across the canal and they're not looking at you. Your view is of open water, nature's own show. There's always something going on. Fish swimming and splashing, exotic birds searching for food. You can pay more, and you can pay less, but we honestly believe, you won't find better VALUE for your vacation dollar.
You'll watch boats in the harbor and the countless dingies comings and goings. Bring your binoculars, you never know what to expect. You can relax, be yourself, feel at home here. A simple evening here will be a lifetime memory. It's a real 'Retreat' from your normal everyday life.
You'll have 2 kayaks and 4- bikes for your use at no additional cost. If your kids are old enough, these can be real fun entertainment for them, or you! Our dock, 130 ft., will accommodate a small flats boat or a 35 ft center console, or both.

There's, newly renovated, Sombrero Beach and Florida Country Club Golf Course about 1 mile away. Bahia Honda State Park is right over the 7-mile Bridge. Both these beaches have bar-b-que grills and are rated among the 'Best'

Boot Key was a wonderful experience, it truly felt like home. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to cook. The furniture inside/outside was even nicer than the pictures showed. We have 3 boys who lived outside fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding & swimming! Plenty of fish off the dock to keep the kids entertained. Constant wildlife around with daily visits from multiple manatees. There was a minor issue that the property manager immediately tended too. We would definitely stay at this home again!

The property manager was GREAT. The house is very nicely furnished. We were able to see the Manatees, starfish and even a seahorse in the canal.

My family and I had a great time at Bootkey! It’s perfect for those who want to fish, kayak and just spend the day outdoors. It also is comfortable inside if you’re wanting to stay in. Excellent sunset views and beautiful.

We really enjoyed this house. The dock area was nice as well although the water was a bit dirty at times. There were tons of jellyfish at all times so it wasn’t really a great place to get in the water. The house is beautiful and nice. We would definitely consider coming back one day.
