About this house rental
We welcome you to come and be our guest at the Legacy Lodge.
Guests pay an additional 13.5% of nightly rate BBR Recreation Fee billed through VRBO within a week of reservation. Hosts do not receive any part of this fee.
Love, care and updates have been put into our cabin to make our guests have an amazing stay.
We have a Fido crate, bowls, mats, and other goodies to make your stay with your dog more comfortable.
The decks have loungers and outdoor supplies to enjoy the private outdoor beauty that surrounds you!
Our air conditioned home has comfortable accommodations for 11 people. On the main floor there are three bedrooms with king beds and two full baths.
The "bunkroom" is upstairs with two sets of bunk beds (twin mattresses), a trundle (twin mattress), and a fold out couch (single mattress). A 40" Smart TV with cable in the Bunkroom makes it the perfect "kid's room". Adjacent the Kid's Bunkroom is a third bathroom with shower.
Also upstairs is a loft with wraparound seating for a 65" Smart TV, with cable. All common Streaming Services available on both TVs. We also offer free high speed Wi-Fi at the house.
The kitchen is small but fully equipped - there is a propane gas barbecue on the huge wrap-around deck. For those who prefer not to cook, the Ranch, Sisters, and Camp Sherman offer excellent restaurants only minutes away.
For your convenience, bedding, towels, and 2 sets of washer/dryers are provided. A cleaning service is also required.
We are located at Glaze Meadow 182 in the quiet southeast corner of the ranch on a double lot with plenty of privacy but a quick bike ride to the Glaze Meadow Recreation Center, with indoor pool which is open year-round.
The Legacy Lodge has exterior cameras to protect the property when guests are not present. There are no cameras inside of The Legacy Lodge.
The exterior cameras include a Ring door bell at the main entrance, a camera viewing the entry doors, a camera viewing the parking lot, and a camera viewing the sliding glass door and deck. The Ring camera is always operational. The other cameras are operational on arrival and departure days but not operational during your stay.

Home was very comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed for our large group. Plenty of dishes, silverware, towels, seating.There were lots of bicycles, but only found 4 that were rideable - that was a little disappointing. (Three tire pumps there, but couldn't get tires inflated with any of them.) Fireplace and grill had not been cleaned from previous guest, but that was easy to deal with.

Great amenities. We loved our stay. The kitchen was a little small so hard to pull off all the fixings for Thanksgiving.

Overall - nice house, but some issues:
- didn’t get check in email with door codes
- arrived to find wet rags in washing machine
- some of beds were not made so we did it ourselves upon arrival, but not enough spare sheets
- bedding is old especially on bunk beds
- asked to wash and dry AND put away all sheets and towels (AND wash and dry all dishes and put away) before check out
- leaky sink with a note that it will be fixed next week (why is that relevant for us know - why not just fix it?)
Owner did reply to our texts, but couldn’t help with any of the issues.
It wasn’t a huge issue, but rugs were delivered while we were there and we had to move them into the garage.
Just too many little hassles that you don’t want to deal with on vacation….. :(
