for the beach.
Your Ocean-View Home in Waikoloa Beach Resort
Step inside and you're in the islands. Vista A201 is a fully remodeled,
second-floor end unit with an oversized wrap-around lanai surrounded by plumeria trees and palms, with an ocean view that turns gold every evening. Morning Kona coffee or a sunset on the lanai — this is the spot.
The Space
Two bedrooms, two full baths, comfortable for four. The great room is bright
and tropical, with a smart TV, a Blu-ray player, and a pillow-top sofa bed.
The gourmet kitchen features handcrafted Koa cabinets and full-size appliances
— easy to actually cook in. Central air conditioning plus ceiling fans
throughout keep things cool.
- Primary suite: four-poster bed, plantation shutters, three windows for
cross-breeze, a desk, and a smart TV. The spa-style remodeled bath has a
natural-stone walk-in shower with an overhead rain shower head + handheld, and a built-in seat.
- Second bedroom: new queen bed, ceiling fan, and its own fully remodeled bath with walk-in shower.
- Both baths include a lighted magnifying mirror, hair dryer, curling iron,
and flat iron.
The Lanai
Dining table, BBQ, lounge seating, and overhead fans — wrapped in greenery
with the ocean beyond.

The condo has a pretty corner location with a peekaboo view of the ocean. The patio is well equipped with nice furniture and a small BBQ. We arrived to cold liquid refreshments, and a greeting basket which was much appreciated. The condo is well furnished, amply supplied with kitchen items and pool supplies too. The challenge being, the pool is 3 1/2 feet deep and really just set up for adults, not allowing pool toys. The boogie boards did come in handy for the ocean/beach days.Further disappointment comes from dirty exterior windows and a few kitchen items; blackened dirty sauté pan and glass bowls. OK, so things do get missed sometimes but we also discovered an empty Doritos bag between the nightstand and the bed. In general, the unit was clean, except the above mentioned.Lastly, there are many rules to abide by that comes with your arrival letter. We were surprised to learn that the thermostat will not go down below 75 and if the patio doors are open, it will turn off. There are multiple ceiling fans which help out, but if it was close to 90 outside, 75 inside would not be ideal sleeping at night (for us).Additional condo rules; no shoes allowed, squeegee master shower glass and clean the BBQ after use. I’ve managed wine country vacation homes, we’ve rented other VRBO houses and I have never asked a renting guest to clean or been instructed to clean, a barbecue and shower glass.

What a wonderful area to stay while visiting the Big Island!! The condo was very clean and had all the amenities that we could have asked for. The host was very communicative prior to checking in. The view from the Lanai was wonderful. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Fantastic property in a great location. Easy walking to all of Waikoloa including the beach. Well equipped, comfortable, and with beautiful finishes. Clearly a well-kept property with the vacation renter in mind.
