This apartment was ideal for our stay. Located near the Marmalade District and so close to the Capital and downtown, it allowed us to walk, run and drive around the city with ease. It was great to have a kitchen and washer and dryer.

Before I even checked in I had a sour taste in my mouth as I messaged the host Joe at 2:45 and asked if It was okay to check in a hour early at 3:00 PM. He replied promptly and said their would be a $30 charge to check in a hour early which I think is absurd! He said that he would have to change the cleaners schedule lol….mind you it was 2:45 and I was asking to check in at 3:00 PM. First time using VRBO but use their competitors frequently and NEVER been charged for early check in. Felt like a shakedown. Your guest just made a 12 hour drive…let them check in a little early.
I also didn’t appreciate a random 9 digit door code that I had to go to my phone to get every time we came back. Never before have I had a rental with a code that was either easy to remember or able to customize myself.
Neighborhood was just okay. Saw some homeless walking through the neighborhood. Was worried my vehicle would be broken into but all went fine with that. Is a short distance from downtown SLC.
I won’t stay here again when I return to SLC!
